If she does not please the master who has selected her for himself, he must let her be redeemed. He has no right to sell her to foreigners, because he has broken faith with her.

But what if the master who has chosen her does not like her? Then he must let the man buy her back. He has no right to sell her to strangers. He has broken his promise to her.

猶大行事詭詐，在以色列和耶路撒冷中行了可憎的事；因為猶大褻瀆耶和華所喜愛的聖殿，娶外邦神明的女子為妻。凡做這事的，無論是清醒的或回應的，即使獻供物給萬軍之耶和華，耶和華也要將他從雅各的帳棚中剪除。你們又再做這樣的事，使哭泣和嘆息的眼淚遮蓋耶和華的祭壇，以致耶和華不再理會那供物，也不喜歡從你們的手中收納。你們還說：「這是為甚麼呢？」因為耶和華在你和你年輕時所娶的妻之間作證。她雖是你的配偶，你誓約的妻，你卻背棄她。一個人如果還剩下一點靈性，他不會這麼做。這人在尋找甚麼呢？神的後裔！當謹守你們的靈性，誰也不可背棄年輕時所娶的妻。

你們如今若以誠實正直對待耶路巴力和他的家，就可以因亞比米勒歡樂，他也可以因你們歡樂；

以掃就看出他父親以撒看迦南女子不順眼。

若你在被擄的人中看見美麗的女子，喜歡她，要娶她為妻，就可以帶她到你家去。她要剪頭髮，修指甲，脫去被擄時所穿的衣服，住在你家裏為自己父母哀哭一個月。然後，你就可以與她同房；你作她的丈夫，她作你的妻子。以後你若不喜歡她，就要讓她自由離開，絕不可為錢把她賣了，也不可把她當奴隸看待，因為你已經佔有過她。」

摩西說：「看哪，我要從你這裏出去祈求耶和華，使成羣的蒼蠅明天離開法老、法老的臣僕和法老的百姓；法老卻不可再欺騙，不讓百姓去向耶和華獻祭。」

誰與女子訂了婚尚未迎娶，他可以回家去，免得他陣亡，別人去娶。』

他父母對他說：「在你弟兄的女兒中，或在本族所有的人中，難道沒有女子嗎？你何必在未受割禮的非利士人中去娶妻呢？」參孫對他父親說：「請你給我娶那女子，因為我喜歡她。」

我的弟兄詭詐，好像河道，像溪水流過的河床，

撒母耳不喜悅他們說「立一個王治理我們」，他就向耶和華禱告。

掃羅非常憤怒，不喜歡這話。他說：「將萬萬歸給大衛，千千歸給我，只剩下王國沒有給他！」
