他們對摩西說：“求你和我們說話吧，我們必定聽你的話，不可讓神和我們說話，恐怕我們死亡。”

对摩西说：“求你和我们说话，我们必听；不要神和我们说话，恐怕我们死亡。”

他们对摩西说：“请你向我们说话，我们必听；不要让上帝向我们说话，免得我们死亡。”

他们对摩西说：“请你向我们说话，我们必听；不要让神向我们说话，免得我们死亡。”

他们对摩西说：“求你跟我们说话，我们必听从。不要让上帝直接跟我们说话，恐怕我们会丧命！”

他们对摩西说：“求你和我们说话吧，我们必定听你的话，不可让神和我们说话，恐怕我们死亡。”

對摩西說：「求你和我們說話，我們必聽；不要神和我們說話，恐怕我們死亡。」

他們對摩西說：「請你向我們說話，我們必聽；不要讓上帝向我們說話，免得我們死亡。」

他們對摩西說：「請你向我們說話，我們必聽；不要讓神向我們說話，免得我們死亡。」

他們對摩西說：「求你跟我們說話，我們必聽從。不要讓上帝直接跟我們說話，恐怕我們會喪命！」

對摩西說：『你對我們說話吧，我們就要聽；可別讓上帝和我們說話呀，恐怕我們死亡。』

謂摩西曰、汝與我言、我必聽從、上帝勿與我言、恐我死亡、

謂摩西曰、汝與我言、我則聽從、如上帝與我言、我恐死亡。

謂摩西曰、求爾與我言、我聽之、願天主不與我言、恐我死亡、

and said to Moses,“ Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.”

They said to Moses,“ Speak to us yourself. Then we’ll listen. But don’t let God speak to us. If he does, we’ll die.”

and said to Moses,“ You speak to us, and we will listen; but do not let God speak to us, lest we die.”

And they said to Moses,“ You speak to us, and we will listen. But don’t let God speak directly to us, or we will die!”

“ You speak to us, and we will listen,” they said to Moses,“ but don’t let God speak to us, or we will die.”

Then they said to Moses,“ Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but do not have God speak to us, or we will die!”

Then they said to Moses,“ You speak with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.”

And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear; but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

“ You speak to us, and we will listen,” they said to Moses,“ but don’t let God speak to us, or we will die.”

And they said unto Moses, Speak thou with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

They said to Moses,“ You speak to us and we will listen, but do not let God speak with us, lest we die.”

They said to Moses,“ Speak with us yourself, and we will listen; but don’t let God speak with us, lest we die.”

這正是你在何烈山開大會的日子，求耶和華你的神的一切話，說：‘不要讓我再聽見耶和華我的神的聲音了；也不要讓我再看見這大火了，免得我死亡。’

他又說：“你不能看我的臉，因為沒有人看見了我還能活著。”

那麼，為甚麼要有律法呢？是為了過犯的緣故才加上的，直到那得應許的後裔來到。律法是藉著天使經中保的手設立的；

那時山上被火燒著，你們聽見有聲音從黑暗中發出來的時候，你們各支派的首領和你們的長老，都走到我這裡來，說：‘看哪，耶和華我們的神把他的榮耀和偉大顯給我們看，我們又聽見他從火中發出來的聲音；今日我們看見了神與人說話，而人還能活著。現在這大火快要吞滅我們了，我們為甚麼要冒死呢？如果我們再聽見耶和華我們神的聲音，我們就必死亡。因為有血肉生命的人，有誰像我們一樣，聽見永活的神從火中說話的聲音，還能活著呢？現在求你走前去，聽聽耶和華我們的神要說的一切話；然後你要把耶和華我們的神對你所說的一切話，都告訴我們；我們就必聽從，也必遵行。’

那時，我站在耶和華和你們中間，要把耶和華的話告訴你們；你們因為懼怕那火，所以沒有上到山上來，耶和華說：

那曾經在曠野的大會中，和那在西奈山上對他說話的使者同在，也與我們的祖先同在的，就是他。他領受了活的聖言，傳給我們。

於是，雅各給那地方起名叫毗努伊勒，意思說：“我面對面看見了神，我的性命仍得保全。”

號筒的響聲和說話的聲音；那些聽見這聲音的人，都請求神不要再向他們多說話；
