摩西聞言而奔、旅於米田、生二子焉、

日暮、眾女群來汲水、僕使駝跪伏於邑外井旁、

見有井於田、大石覆其上、羊群三、附井而卧、蓋人必飲羊於此。

摩西有信、則離埃及不惴王怒、其恆心如見無形之上帝、

有雅各井、

此邑見窘逐、則奔彼邑、我誠告爾、以色列諸邑、爾遊未徧、而人子至矣、

智者先機以避害、愚者前往而遭刑。

亞哈以以利亞殺其先知、及凡所為、告耶洗別。耶洗別遣人告以利亞曰、如於明日斯時、我不殺爾、若爾殺彼者、則願上帝降罰於我。以利亞聞此、則遁逃以保命、至猶大之別是巴、而留其僕。

以利亞聞之、以衣蒙面而出、立於穴口、有聲謂之曰、以利亞在此何為、曰、我因萬有之上帝耶和華、熱中特甚、以色列族背爾約、毀爾壇、殺爾先知、獨余留焉、又欲害我矣。

約雅金王、與諸方伯武士、既聞斯言、欲謀殺之、烏哩亞知之則懼、逃於埃及、約雅金王遣亞革破子利拿單、與從者數人、詣埃及、曳烏哩亞出、至約雅金王前、殺之、棄尸於賤者之墓。

生心蘭、約山、米但、米田、益八、書亞。

以掃見以撒為雅各祝嘏、遣至巴坦亞蘭、欲在彼娶室、更囑其毋娶迦南女為室、又見雅各循父母命、往巴坦亞蘭、

米田生以法、以弗、哈諾、亞庇大、以勒大、咸屬基都喇子孫。○

耶和華在米田、諭摩西曰、欲害爾命者已死、可返埃及。
