又派了以色列人中的青年人去献燔祭，又向耶和华杀牛献为平安祭。

原来有一大群人，很多是从以法莲、玛拿西、以萨迦和西布伦来的，还没有自洁，就吃逾越节的羊羔，不遵照所记的定例；因此，希西家为他们祷告说：“凡是立定心意，专一寻求神耶和华他们列祖的神的，虽然没有照着圣所洁净的礼自洁，愿良善的耶和华也饶恕他们。”

亚伦的儿子拿答和亚比户各拿着自己的香炉，盛上火，加上香，在耶和华面前献上平常的火，是耶和华没有命令他们献的。那时有火从耶和华面前出来，把他们烧灭，他们就死在耶和华面前。于是摩西对亚伦说：“这就是耶和华曾经告诉我们的，他说：‘在亲近我的人中，我要显为圣，在众人面前，我要得荣耀。’”亚伦就默然无语。

他们到了拿艮的打禾场的时候，因为牛几乎绊倒，乌撒就伸手扶住神的约柜。耶和华的怒气向乌撒发作；神因这错误的举动，就当场击杀他，他就死在神的约柜旁边。大卫因为耶和华击杀了乌撒，就很生气，因此称那地方为毗列斯‧乌撒，直到今日。

现在你们若是实在听我的话，遵守我的约，你们就必在万民中作属我的产业，因为全地都是我的。

摩西从山上下来到人民那里去，使人民分别为圣，他们就把自己的衣服洗净了。他对人民说：“第三天，你们要预备好了；不可亲近女人。”

先前没有你们，耶和华我们的神就击打我们，因为我们没有按照定例寻求他。”

亚拿尼亚一听见这话，就仆倒断了气。所有听见的人都十分害怕。

（但他们不能如期守逾越节，因为自洁的祭司不够，人民也没有齐集在耶路撒冷。）

因此，你们中间有许多人是软弱的，患病的，而且死了（“死了”直译作“睡了”）的也不少。我们若仔细省察自己，就不会受审判了。然而我们被主审判的时候，是受他的管教，免得和世人一同被定罪。

你们要离开，要离开，要从那里出来，不要触摸不洁净的东西。扛抬耶和华器皿的啊！你们要从巴比伦城中出来，要自洁。

二月十四日，他们宰了逾越节的羊羔。祭司和利未人都觉得惭愧，就自洁，把燔祭带到耶和华的殿里。

他们到了基顿禾场的时候，因为牛失蹄绊倒，乌撒就伸手扶住约柜。于是耶和华向乌撒发怒，因为乌撒伸手把约柜扶住，所以神把他击杀，他就在那里死在神面前。大卫因耶和华忽然杀死乌撒，非常不悦，就称那地方为毗列斯．乌撒，直到今日。

她立刻就仆倒在彼得脚前，断了气。那些青年人进来，发现她死了，把她也抬出去，埋在她丈夫旁边。
