and the Lord said to him,“ Go down and warn the people so they do not force their way through to see the Lord and many of them perish.

伯示麥人窺耶和華之匱、為所擊者、七十人、時有五萬人在彼、見耶和華降大災、則號哭不勝。

曰、我在此。曰、爾勿前、解爾履、爾立之所乃聖地。

惟不許爾覿我面、民而矚我、難保其命。

山之四周、爾範圍之、告於有眾曰、爾當謹恪、毋陟高崗、毋犯斯境、犯者死無赦。不以手執、必矢石攻擊、無論人畜、命莫能逃、迨角聲清越、始可登山。

詣上帝殿、必慎必恪傾耳以聆、勿效愚人、作惡獻祭、不自知其非義。

曰、我必回步履、睹此異象、棘焚不燬、曷故。

惟我得不震之國、當望恩見悅於上帝、虔恭寅畏以事之、蓋我之上帝、如火之燎焉、
