Then the Lord told Moses,“ Go back down and warn the people not to break through the boundaries to see the Lord, or they will die.

耶和华对摩西说：“你下去嘱咐百姓，不可闯过来到我面前观看，恐怕他们有多人死亡；

主諭摩西曰、爾下戒民、毋越界近我前以窺、恐其有多人死亡、

and the Lord said to him,“ Go down and warn the people so they do not force their way through to see the Lord and many of them perish.

Mark off a boundary all around the mountain. Warn the people,‘ Be careful! Do not go up on the mountain or even touch its boundaries. Anyone who touches the mountain will certainly be put to death.No hand may touch the person or animal that crosses the boundary; instead, stone them or shoot them with arrows. They must be put to death.’ However, when the ram’s horn sounds a long blast, then the people may go up on the mountain.”

As you enter the house of God, keep your ears open and your mouth shut. It is evil to make mindless offerings to God.

“ This is amazing,” Moses said to himself.“ Why isn’t that bush burning up? I must go see it.”

Since we are receiving a Kingdom that is unshakable, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping him with holy fear and awe.For our God is a devouring fire.
