The Lord said to him,“ Go down and warn the people. They must not force their way through to see the Lord. If they do, many of them will die.

耶和华对摩西说：“你下去嘱咐百姓，不可闯过来到我面前观看，恐怕他们有多人死亡；

耶和华对摩西说：“你下去警告百姓，免得他们闯过来看耶和华，就会有许多人死亡。

耶和华对摩西说：“你下去嘱咐百姓不可闯过界线到我这里观看，以免很多人死亡。

耶和华对摩西说：“你下去警告人民，不可闯过来，到我这里观看，免得他们中间有很多人灭亡。

耶和華對摩西說：「你下去囑咐百姓，不可闖過來到我面前觀看，恐怕他們有多人死亡；

永恆主對摩西說：『你下去警告人民，恐怕他們闖過來到永恆主面前來觀看，以致他們中間有許多人會倒斃。

耶和華諭之曰、爾下戒民、勿越境、以窺耶和華、致多隕沒、

耶和華曰、爾下、告於有眾、勿踰越以窺我、恐多殞沒。

主諭摩西曰、爾下戒民、毋越界近我前以窺、恐其有多人死亡、

and the Lord said to him,“ Go down and warn the people so they do not force their way through to see the Lord and many of them perish.

And the Lord said to Moses,“ Go down and warn the people, lest they break through to the Lord to look and many of them perish.

Then the Lord told Moses,“ Go back down and warn the people not to break through the boundaries to see the Lord, or they will die.

The LORD directed Moses,“ Go down and warn the people not to break through to see the LORD; otherwise many of them will die.

Then the Lord spoke to Moses:“ Go down, warn the people, so that they do not break through to the Lord to stare, and many of them perish.

And the Lord said to Moses,“ Go down and warn the people, lest they break through to gaze at the Lord, and many of them perish.

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto Jehovah to gaze, and many of them perish.

The Lord directed Moses,“ Go down and warn the people not to break through to see the Lord; otherwise many of them will die.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.

The LORD said to Moses,“ Go down and solemnly warn the people, lest they force their way through to the LORD to look, and many of them perish.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Go down, warn the people, lest they break through to Yahweh to gaze, and many of them perish.

But some of the people of Beth Shemesh looked into the ark of the Lord. So he struck them down. He put 70 of them to death. The rest of the people were filled with sorrow. That’s because the Lord had killed so many of them.

“ Do not come any closer,” God said.“ Take off your sandals. The place you are standing on is holy ground.”

But you can’t see my face,” he said.“ No one can see me and stay alive.”

Put limits for the people around the mountain. Tell them,‘ Be careful that you do not go near the mountain. Do not even touch the foot of it. Whoever touches the mountain must be put to death.Do not lay a hand on any of them. Kill them with stones or shoot them with arrows. Whether they are people or animals, do not let them live.’ They may go near the mountain only when the ram’s horn gives out a long blast.”

Be careful what you say when you go to God’s house. Go there to listen. Don’t be like foolish people when you offer your sacrifice. They do what is wrong and don’t even know it.

So Moses thought,“ I’ll go over and see this strange sight. Why doesn’t the bush burn up?”

We are receiving a kingdom that can’t be shaken. So let us be thankful. Then we can worship God in a way that pleases him. Let us worship him with deep respect and wonder.Our“ God is like a fire that burns everything up.”( Deuteronomy 4:24)
