这些事以后，我观看，看见天上有一道门开着。我头一次听见的那好像吹号的声音对我说：“你上这里来，我要把此后必须发生的事指示你。”

以黑暗为藏身之处，以水的黑暗、天空的密云作四围的行宫。因他发出光辉，冰雹和火炭穿透密云。耶和华在天上打雷，至高者发出声音，就有冰雹和火炭。他射出箭来，使仇敌四散；发出连串的闪电，击溃他们。

所见的景象极其可怕，以致摩西说：“我恐惧战兢。”

众百姓见雷轰、闪电、角声、山上冒烟，百姓看见就都战抖，远远站着。

耶和华对摩西说：“看哪，我要在密云中临到你那里，叫百姓在我与你说话的时候可以听见，就可以永远相信你了。”于是，摩西将百姓的话禀告耶和华。

有闪电、声音、雷轰从宝座中发出。在宝座前点着七支火炬，就是神的七灵。

摩西向天伸杖，耶和华就打雷下雹，有火降到地上；耶和华下雹在埃及地上。

你的雷声在旋风之中，闪电照亮世界，大地战抖震动。

天使拿着香炉，盛满了坛上的火，倒在地上；就有雷轰、响声、闪电、地震。

于是，神天上的圣所开了，在他圣所中，他的约柜出现了；随后有闪电、响声、雷轰、地震、大冰雹。

祭司因云彩的缘故不能站立供职，因为耶和华的荣光充满了神的殿。

这不是割麦子的时候吗？我求告耶和华，他必打雷降雨，让你们知道并且看出，你们为自己求立王的事在耶和华眼前是犯大罪了。”于是撒母耳求告耶和华，耶和华就在这日打雷降雨，众百姓就非常惧怕耶和华和撒母耳。

你们难道不惧怕我吗？在我面前还不战兢吗？这是耶和华说的。我以沙为海的界限，作永远的条例，使它不得越过。波浪汹涌，却不能胜过；怒涛澎湃，仍无法越过。

耶和华的声音在众水上，荣耀的神打雷；耶和华打雷在大水之上。耶和华的声音大有能力，耶和华的声音满有威严。耶和华的声音震碎香柏树，耶和华震碎黎巴嫩的香柏树。他使黎巴嫩跳跃如牛犊，使西连跳跃如野牛犊。耶和华的声音使火焰分岔。耶和华的声音震动旷野，耶和华震动加低斯的旷野。耶和华的声音惊动母鹿落胎，树林也脱落净光。凡在他殿中的，都述说他的荣耀。耶和华坐在洪水之上为王；耶和华坐着为王，直到永远。耶和华必赐力量给他的百姓，耶和华必赐平安的福给他的百姓。

我们的神要来，绝不闭口；有烈火在他面前吞灭，有暴风在他四围刮起。

有一主日我被圣灵感动，听见在我后面有大声音如吹号，

那时，云彩遮盖会幕，耶和华的荣光充满了帐幕。

他的闪电光照世界，大地看见就震动。

“谁为大雨分道，谁为雷电开路，

“因此我心战兢，从原处移动。听啊，听他轰轰的声音，是神口中所发的响声。他发响声震遍天下，他的闪电直到地极。随后，人听见他的声音，是那轰轰的声音；他发出威严的雷声，而不加以遏止。神发出奇妙的雷声；他行大事，我们不能测透。

请你们祈求耶和华，因神的雷轰和冰雹已经够了。我要放你们走，你们不用再留下来了。”摩西对他说：“我一出城就向耶和华举起双手；雷必止住，也不再有冰雹，叫你知道地是属于耶和华的。
