爾於眾民中選才德兼備、敬畏天主、真實無妄、不貪財利者、立之為千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長、以治理斯民、

But select capable men from all the people— men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain— and appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.

But choose men of ability from all the people. They must have respect for God. You must be able to trust them. They must not try to get money by cheating others. Appoint them as officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.

Moreover, look for able men from all the people, men who fear God, who are trustworthy and hate a bribe, and place such men over the people as chiefs of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens.

But select from all the people some capable, honest men who fear God and hate bribes. Appoint them as leaders over groups of one thousand, one hundred, fifty, and ten.

But you should select from all the people able men, God-fearing, trustworthy, and hating dishonest profit. Place them over the people as commanders of thousands, hundreds, fifties, and tens.

Furthermore, you shall select out of all the people able men who fear God, men of truth, those who hate dishonest gain; and you shall place these over them as leaders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens.

Moreover you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

他们眼中充满了淫欲和无止境的罪；他们引诱不坚定的人；他们心中习惯了贪婪；他们是被诅咒的儿女；他们离开了正道就被迷惑，随从了比珥的儿子巴兰的路——这巴兰喜爱不义的酬报，

“法官一直不肯，但是后来心里说：‘即使我不敬畏神，也不尊重人，

那行事公义、说话正直、厌弃压榨所得的利益、摇手不受贿赂、掩耳不听杀人流血之计、闭眼不看邪恶之事的，

至于那些想发财的人就会陷入试探、网罗以及很多无知有害的欲望里；这些欲望使人沉溺在败坏和灭亡中。要知道，贪爱金钱是万恶之根；有些人恋慕金钱，就被迷惑而离开了信仰，用很多苦痛把自己刺透了。至于你，哦，属神的人哪，你要逃避这些事！你要追求公义、敬神、信仰、爱心、忍耐、温柔，

不要把我的灵魂与罪人一同收回，不要把我的命与杀人流血的一同收回。他们的手中有恶计，他们的右手满是贿赂。

听完了这一切，结论就是：当敬畏神，谨守他的诫命，因为这是每一个人的本份。

使者说：“不可向这少年下手，什么也不可对他做！现在我知道你是敬畏神的，因为你没有把你的儿子，就是你的独生子，留下不给我。”

他的儿子们没有行他的道，反而贪图私利，收取贿赂，屈枉公正。

必有一个宝座因慈爱坚立，必有一位在大卫的帐篷中凭信实坐在其上，施行审判，寻求公正，速行公义。

又分配他们作千夫长、五十夫长，耕作他的土地、收割他的庄稼，为他制造兵器和战车上的器械。

公正被逐退，公义远远地站着，因为真理在广场绊倒，正直不能进来；真理缺失，远离恶事的人反被掳夺。耶和华看见了，这一切在他眼中看为恶，因为没有一点公正。

看哪，你们可以在耶和华和他的受膏者面前指控我：我夺取过谁的牛，夺取过谁的驴子？我欺压过谁，压榨过谁？又从谁的手中收取过贿赂，以致我的眼睛被蒙住了？如果是这样，我必归还你们。”他们说：“你没有欺压过我们，没有压榨过我们，也没有从任何人手中收取过什么。”

没有人以公义申诉，没有人以信实申辩；人人都依靠虚无，说话虚妄，怀上祸患，生下邪恶；

我没有渴望过任何人的金子、银子或衣服。

他不放债取利，也不收贿赂害无辜的人。行这些事的人将永不动摇！

国中因有过犯，就有许多首领争权；但靠着有悟性、有知识的人，国就得以长存。

他说：“某城里有一个审判官，他既不敬畏神，也不尊重人。

不酗酒、不好斗；反要谦和，不争吵、不贪财，
