耶穌對他們說：「光在你們中間為時不多了，應該趁着有光的時候行走，免得黑暗臨到你們；那在黑暗裏行走的，不知道往何處去。

你們要先求神的國和他的義，這些東西都要加給你們了。

因為他說：「在悅納的時候，我應允了你；在拯救的日子，我幫助了你。」看哪，現在正是悅納的時候！看哪，現在正是拯救的日子！

你趁着年輕、衰老的日子尚未來到，就是你所說，我毫無喜悅的那些歲月來臨之前，當記念造你的主。
