摩西為人極其謙和，勝過地面上的任何人。

「不要為自己在地上積蓄財寶；地上有蟲子咬，能銹壞，也有賊挖洞來偷。

你們要變賣財產賙濟人，為自己預備永不壞的錢囊和用不盡的財寶在天上，就是賊不能近，蟲不能蛀的地方。

摩西非常生氣，就對耶和華說：「求你不要接受他們的供物。我並沒有奪過他們一匹驢，也沒有害過他們中任何一個人。」

不可貪愛錢財，要以自己所有的為滿足，因為神曾說：「我絕不撇下你，也絕不丟棄你。」

耶穌看見就很生氣，對門徒說：「讓小孩到我這裏來，不要阻止他們，因為在神國的正是這樣的人。

即使生氣也不要犯罪；不可含怒到日落，

耶穌怒目環視他們，因他們的心剛硬而憂傷，就對那人說：「伸出手來！」他把手一伸，手就復原了。

你們的財物腐爛了，你們的衣服被蟲子蛀了。你們的金銀都生銹了；這銹要證明你們的不是，又要像火一樣吞吃你們的肉。你們在這末世只知道積蓄錢財。
