这是耶稣第一次行神迹，是在加利利的迦拿行的，彰显了祂的荣耀，门徒都信了祂。

许多来看玛丽亚的犹太人看见耶稣所行的事，就信了祂，

耶稣在耶路撒冷过逾越节期间，许多人看见祂行的神迹，就信了祂。耶稣却不信任他们，因为祂洞悉万人。不用别人告诉祂，祂也深知人的内心。

种子落在盖着浅土的石头地上是指人听了道，欣然接受了，但是没有根基，只是暂时相信，一遇到试炼就放弃了。

许多人因为这番话而信了耶稣。耶稣对信祂的犹太人说：“你们若持守我的道，就真是我的门徒了。你们必认识真理，真理必叫你们得到自由。”

耶和华对摩西说：“我会在密云中临到你那里，使百姓也可以亲耳听见我与你说话的声音，这样他们就会永远信赖你。”摩西把以色列人的话回报耶和华。

我因敬畏你而战抖，我惧怕你的法令。

第二天清晨，众人起来去提哥亚的旷野。他们出发的时候，约沙法站着说：“犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民啊，请听我说！要信靠你们的上帝耶和华，你们就必坚立；要相信祂的先知，你们就必得胜。”

那时他们才相信祂的话，歌唱赞美祂。然而，他们很快忘了祂的作为，不愿等候祂的引导。

百姓相信了。以色列人听见耶和华眷顾他们、看到了他们的苦难，都俯伏敬拜祂。

于是，撒母耳向耶和华呼求，耶和华便在当天打雷降雨，民众非常害怕耶和华和撒母耳。

西门本人也信了基督，接受了洗礼，并常常追随腓利左右。腓利所行的神迹奇事令他非常惊奇。
