蓋法老必自謂以色列族迷於野、不得出其藩。

法老必議以色列人云、彼眾失路、困於曠野、

Pharaoh will think,‘ The Israelites are wandering around the land in confusion, hemmed in by the desert.’

Pharaoh will think,‘ The Israelites are wandering around the land. They don’t know which way to go. The desert is all around them.’

For Pharaoh will say of the people of Israel,‘ They are wandering in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.’

Then Pharaoh will think,‘ The Israelites are confused. They are trapped in the wilderness!’

Pharaoh will say of the Israelites: They are wandering around the land in confusion; the wilderness has boxed them in.

For Pharaoh will say of the sons of Israel,‘ They are wandering aimlessly in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.’

For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel,‘ They are bewildered by the land; the wilderness has closed them in.’

And Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

Pharaoh will say of the Israelites: They are wandering around the land in confusion; the wilderness has boxed them in.

For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They[ are] entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

Pharaoh will think regarding the Israelites,‘ They are wandering around confused in the land– the desert has closed in on them.’

Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel,‘ They are entangled in the land. The wilderness has shut them in.’

如其藏身之地、知之甚確、則來告我、我偕爾往、若彼在猶大郡中、我必遍索之。

我或坐或起、或寢或興、爾知之稔兮、念慮未萌、爾知之久兮、我之步履、爾察之詳兮、

主耶和華曰、越在疇昔、我示我僕以色列族之先知、諭以未來事、言我將任敵攻伐斯眾、非爾其誰、

維彼有言、謂我不見拯於上帝、

主耶和華曰、斯時也爾心將萌惡念云、地無城郭、吾必侵伐之、民安逸樂、吾必攻擊之、維彼城垣不築、門楗俱無、

耶和華兮、我之言詞、爾無不知悉兮、

我聞眾民、訕謗我躬、隨在驚惶、彼此傳語、聲罪辱我、我之友朋、望我趑趄、云、或可誘而勝之、以雪我忿。惟耶和華威武可畏、左右余躬、窘逐我者、必遭躓蹶、永不亨通、懷羞抱愧、歷世莫掩其醜。

或告迦薩人曰、參孫至此。乃竟夕環守、更伏邑門、默無聲息、自謂待至黎明、我必殺之。

我誓以斯土錫於斯民、未導入彼之時、已知其性情、必作不端、迨厥子孫遭難遇害、不可勝數、必口誦斯歌、不致遺忘、斯歌亦可為證。○

以成爾權、爾旨預定之事、

或以大闢至枝拉告掃羅。掃羅曰、斯邑設有門楗、閉不得出、今入其中、是上帝以彼付於我手。

法老剛愎厥心、我姑聽之、俟我多施異跡奇事於埃及地。法老必不聽爾、我則施大能、降災於埃及人、導我兆民以色列族出其境。

謂我見絶於上帝、援手無人、可襲取兮。
