“ Consecrate to me every firstborn male. The first offspring of every womb among the Israelites belongs to me, whether human or animal.”

有血肉生命头生的，无论是人或是牲畜，就是他们献给耶和华的，都必归给你；只是人类头生的，你总要赎出来；不洁净牲畜头生的，也要赎出来。

因为所有头生的，都是我的；我在埃及地击杀所有头生的那天，就把以色列中所有头生的，无论人畜，都分别为圣归我；他们要归我，我是耶和华。”

“唯独牲畜的头一胎，无论是牛或是羊，既然头一胎是属于耶和华的，人就不能再把它分别为圣，因为这本是耶和华的。

要把你丰收的五谷和初榨的新酒献上，不可迟延；要把你头生的儿子献给我。对于牛羊头生的，你也要这样作；七天之内，可以和母的在一起，第八天就要把它献给我。

有名字登记在天上众长子的教会，有审判众人的神，有被成全的义人的灵魂，

要把你地上最上好的初熟之物带到耶和华你神的殿中。不可用山羊羔母的奶去煮山羊羔。

因为他们是以色列人中完全献给我的；我选出了他们归我，是代替以色列人中所有头生的。因为以色列人中所有头生的，连人带畜都是我的；我在埃及地击杀所有头生的那一天，就把他们分别为圣归我了。

你要对法老说：‘耶和华这样说：以色列是我的长子。

你要把所有头生的奉献给耶和华，也要把你一切牲畜中所有头生的小牲口奉献给耶和华；公的都属耶和华。凡是头生的驴，你要用羊羔代赎；如果你不代赎，就要打断它的颈项；凡是你儿子中头生的人，你都要代赎。日后你的儿子若是问你们：‘这是什么意思？’你就要回答他：‘耶和华曾经用大能的手把我们从埃及为奴之家领出来。那时法老心里刚硬，不让我们离开，耶和华就把埃及地所有头生的，无论是人或是牲畜都杀了；所以，我把所有头生的公牲口都献给耶和华为祭；但我所有头生的儿子，却都要代赎回来。

凡是头胎的都是我的；你的牲畜中，无论是牛或羊，凡是公的和头生的，都是我的。头生的驴，你要用羊代赎，如果不代赎，就要打断它的颈项。你所有头胎的儿子，你都要代赎出来。没有人可以空手见我。
