如果山羊和公牛的血，以及母牛犊的灰，洒在不洁的人身上，尚且可以使他们成为圣洁，身体洁净，何况基督的血呢？他藉着永远的灵，把自己无瑕无疵的献给神，他的血不是更能洁净我们的良心脱离致死的行为，使我们可以事奉永活的神吗？

何况是践踏神的儿子，把那使他成圣的立约的血当作俗物，又侮辱施恩的圣灵的人，你们想想，他不是应该受更严厉的刑罚吗？

因为他献上了一次的祭，就使那些成圣的人永远得到完全。
