二月十四日，宰了逾越节的羊羔。祭司与利未人觉得惭愧，就洁净自己，把燔祭奉到耶和华殿中，遵着神人摩西的律法，照例站在自己的地方；祭司从利未人手里接过血来，洒在坛上。会中有许多人尚未自洁，所以利未人为一切不洁之人宰逾越节的羊羔，使他们在耶和华面前成为圣洁。以法莲、玛拿西、以萨迦、西布伦有许多人尚未自洁，他们却也吃逾越节的羊羔，不合所记录的定例。希西家为他们祷告说：“凡专心寻求神，就是耶和华他列祖之神的，虽不照着圣所洁净之礼自洁，求至善的耶和华也饶恕他。”

他们要在二月十四日黄昏的时候，守逾越节。要用无酵饼与苦菜，和逾越节的羊羔同吃。

希律和本丢彼拉多，外邦人和以色列民，果然在这城里聚集，要攻打你所膏的圣仆耶稣，

“我已经听见以色列人的怨言。你告诉他们说：‘到黄昏的时候，你们要吃肉，早晨必有食物得饱，你们就知道我是耶和华你们的神。’”

“正月十四日，你们要守逾越节，守节七日，要吃无酵饼。

以色列人出埃及地以后，第二年正月，耶和华在西奈的旷野吩咐摩西说：“以色列人应当在所定的日期守逾越节，就是本月十四日黄昏的时候，你们要在所定的日期守这节，要按这节的律例典章而守。”

众人都起来，把耶稣解到彼拉多面前，

众人上去求巡抚，照常例给他们办。

祭司长和长老挑唆众人，求释放巴拉巴，除灭耶稣。

第一日当有圣会；什么劳碌的工都不可做。

从正月十四日晚上，直到二十一日晚上，你们要吃无酵饼。

众人却一齐喊着说：“除掉这个人！释放巴拉巴给我们！”

众人都回答说：“他的血归到我们和我们的子孙身上。”

“你要注意亚笔月，向耶和华你的神守逾越节，因为耶和华你的神在亚笔月夜间领你出埃及。你当在耶和华所选择要立为他名的居所，从牛群羊群中，将逾越节的祭牲献给耶和华你的神。你吃这祭牲，不可吃有酵的饼；七日之内要吃无酵饼，就是困苦饼，（你本是急忙出了埃及地，）要叫你一生一世记念你从埃及地出来的日子。在你四境之内，七日不可见面酵，头一日晚上所献的肉，一点不可留到早晨。在耶和华你神所赐的各城中，你不可献逾越节的祭；只当在耶和华你神所选择要立为他名的居所，晚上日落的时候，乃是你出埃及的时候，献逾越节的祭。

他既按着神的定旨先见被交与人，你们就藉着无法之人的手，把他钉在十字架上，杀了。

一到早晨，祭司长和长老、文士、全公会的人大家商议，就把耶稣捆绑，解去交给彼拉多。

钉他在十字架上是巳初的时候。

约在申初，耶稣大声喊着说：“以利！以利！拉马撒巴各大尼？”就是说：“我的神！我的神！为什么离弃我？”站在那里的人，有的听见就说：“这个人呼叫以利亚呢！”内中有一个人赶紧跑去，拿海绒蘸满了醋，绑在苇子上，送给他喝。其余的人说：“且等着，看以利亚来救他不来。”耶稣又大声喊叫，气就断了。

从午正到申初，遍地都黑暗了。申初的时候，耶稣大声喊着说：“以罗伊！以罗伊！拉马撒巴各大尼？”（翻出来就是：我的神！我的神！为什么离弃我？）

只是祭司长挑唆众人，宁可释放巴拉巴给他们。

我们都如羊走迷；各人偏行己路；耶和华使我们众人的罪孽都归在他身上。

你们弃绝了那圣洁公义者，反求着释放一个凶手给你们。
