遍伊及地、必有大號哭、往時未有如此者、後亦不復有也、

蝗至伊及遍地、落於四境、極為眾多、往時未有如此之蝗、後亦必無如是者、蝗掩蔽於地、地為之黑、田之所產、與樹之所生、未毀於雹者盡食之、伊及遍地、樹上及田間青綠無遺、

我不容爾若此、爾之所求、乃奉事耶和華、但容壯者往、遂驅二人離於法老前、○

彼有信、離伊及不畏王怒、彼有恆心、如見不可見者、

爾一切臣僕必就我、俯伏於我前云、求爾及從爾之庶民皆出、然後我方出、摩西言竟、忿然離法老而退、○

為幽暗晦冥之日、密雲黑雲之日、異族將至、既強且眾、勢若晨光、鋪於山巔、自古以來、未有若是者、斯後及於世世、亦必無有若是者、

其時雹降、並有火閃雜於雹中、其勢甚厲、自伊及開國以來、未有如此者、
