Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ;

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.

Slaves, obey your masters here on earth. Respect them and honor them with a heart that is true. Obey them just as you would obey Christ.

Bondservants, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ,

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ.

Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as you would Christ.

Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ;

Servants, be obedient unto them that according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

Servants, be submissive to your masters with all fear, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the harsh.For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully.For what credit is it if, when you are beaten for your faults, you take it patiently? But when you do good and suffer, if you take it patiently, this is commendable before God.For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps:

Exhort bondservants to be obedient to their own masters, to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back,not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

“ A son honors his father, And a servant his master. If then I am the Father, Where is My honor? And if I am a Master, Where is My reverence? Says the Lord of hosts To you priests who despise My name. Yet you say,‘ In what way have we despised Your name?’

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the Lord our God, Until He has mercy on us.

Let as many bondservants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and His doctrine may not be blasphemed.And those who have believing masters, let them not despise them because they are brethren, but rather serve them because those who are benefited are believers and beloved. Teach and exhort these things.If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness,

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear.

Teach me Your way, O Lord; I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.

I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You.

“ Now therefore, fear the Lord, serve Him in sincerity and in truth, and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord!

no longer as a slave but more than a slave— a beloved brother, especially to me but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.

Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

“ The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light.

For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart,

And when the angel who spoke to him had departed, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier from among those who waited on him continually.So when he had explained all these things to them, he sent them to Joppa.

For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one,‘ Go,’ and he goes; and to another,‘ Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

And his affections are greater for you as he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you received him.

“ No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling.

For he who is called in the Lord while a slave is the Lord’s freedman. Likewise he who is called while free is Christ’s slave.

The Angel of the Lord said to her,“ Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hand.”
