Bondservants, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ,

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.

Slaves, obey your masters here on earth. Respect them and honor them with a heart that is true. Obey them just as you would obey Christ.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ.

Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as you would Christ.

Slaves, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ;

Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ;

Servants, be obedient unto them that according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

Slaves, obey your human masters with fear and trembling, in the sincerity of your heart, as to Christ.

But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God.For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.

Bondservants are to be submissive to their own masters in everything; they are to be well-pleasing, not argumentative,not pilfering, but showing all good faith, so that in everything they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior.

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.Bondservants, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maidservant to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, till he has mercy upon us.

Let all who are under a yoke as bondservants regard their own masters as worthy of all honor, so that the name of God and the teaching may not be reviled.Those who have believing masters must not be disrespectful on the ground that they are brothers; rather they must serve all the better since those who benefit by their good service are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these things.If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness,

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling,

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord.

For I feel a divine jealousy for you, since I betrothed you to one husband, to present you as a pure virgin to Christ.But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.

when they see your respectful and pure conduct.

Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.

I know, my God, that you test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. In the uprightness of my heart I have freely offered all these things, and now I have seen your people, who are present here, offering freely and joyously to you.

“ Now therefore fear the Lord and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord.

no longer as a bondservant but more than a bondservant, as a beloved brother— especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.

Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love incorruptible.

“ The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light,

For our boast is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we behaved in the world with simplicity and godly sincerity, not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God, and supremely so toward you.

And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,

When the angel who spoke to him had departed, he called two of his servants and a devout soldier from among those who attended him,and having related everything to them, he sent them to Joppa.

For I too am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. And I say to one,‘ Go,’ and he goes, and to another,‘ Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant,‘ Do this,’ and he does it.”

And his affection for you is even greater, as he remembers the obedience of you all, how you received him with fear and trembling.

“ No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling,

For he who was called in the Lord as a bondservant is a freedman of the Lord. Likewise he who was free when called is a bondservant of Christ.

The angel of the Lord said to her,“ Return to your mistress and submit to her.”
