Tychicus, the dear brother and faithful servant in the Lord, will tell you everything, so that you also may know how I am and what I am doing.

與之同行者、有庇理亞人畢羅斯之子所巴特、德颯洛尼之亞里達古及西公都、尚有特庇人迦猶、及蒂茂德、又有亞細亞人第吉各及特羅非摩。

弟吉各予已遣之前往伊法所。

待我遣發亞代瑪或弟吉各於汝處時、務望速至尼各保利、來與予俱；予決意在彼過冬。

予之近狀、第吉各當為爾詳述。渠為吾所愛之兄弟、忠實事主之同寅也。茲特遣其就爾、俾爾得悉吾儕情況、以慰爾心。尚有阿乃西謨與偕、渠為爾之同鄉、亦一忠實可愛之兄弟也。此間諸事、彼等必為爾一一道之。

兄弟鍚爾文、忠實可靠、吾所深知因託其寄爾尺素、以資勸慰、且證明凡此莫非天主聖寵。務望在此聖寵上、屹立不搖。

且昔為家奴、今為兄弟、豈不更美；此在予猶然、況在爾等本屬一家、今又共宗一主、愈當相親相愛矣。

汝能以此種種、昭示兄弟、同時涵泳教義、深味聖訓、日漸月漬、毋忘向之所學、則可謂基督耶穌之忠僕矣。

從伊伯弗拉之教、確已領會天主之洪恩。伊伯弗拉、我親愛之同寅、而基督之忠僕也。

吾主之寬裕容忍、正為吾人之福、當作如是觀也。關於此點、我親愛之兄弟葆樂、亦已按其所賦之智慧、寓書於爾矣。

吾茲遣吾之愛兒、主之忠僕、蒂茂德適爾、以便為爾面授我因基督耶穌所取之途徑；蓋我在各處教會所教者、莫非同然也。

茲欲告慰於兄弟者、即予所遭受之一切、適足促成福音之發揚光大也。
