你們要配上神的全副武裝，使你們得以站立，對付魔鬼的騙局，因為我們不是與血肉之體搏鬥，而是與那些統治的、掌權的、管轄這黑暗世界的，以及天上邪惡的屬靈勢力搏鬥。為此，要拿起神的全副武裝，好使你們在邪惡的日子能夠抵擋，並且在完成一切以後，還站立得住。所以，你們要站立得住：用真理束上腰，穿上公義的護胸甲；把所預備好的和平福音，穿在腳上；在任何情況下，要拿起信仰的盾牌；你們藉著它就能消滅那惡者一切燃燒的飛箭；並且要接受救恩的頭盔和聖靈的寶劍——就是神的話語。

因為我們爭戰所用的兵器不是屬肉體的，而是有屬神的能力，可以拆毀堡壘——拆毀各樣的心思，

要把握機會，因為這時代是邪惡的。

你們要時刻警醒、禱告，使你們能夠逃避這一切將要發生的事，好站立在人子面前。」

那『岩石』，是這樣的人：他們一旦聽了，就懷著喜樂的心接受了這話語；可是這些人沒有根，他們暫時相信，而在試煉的時候，就離開信仰了。

因為你遵守了我忍耐的教導，我還要保守你脫離那試煉的時刻，就是那將要臨到普天下，考驗住在地上之人的時刻。

不過他來的日子，誰能承受得起呢？他顯現的時候，誰能站立得住呢？因為他像煉金之人的火，又像漂布之人的鹼。

因此，在你青春的日子裡，當記念創造你的主——不要等到禍患的日子來到，不要等到你說「我在其中毫無喜樂」的歲月來臨；

因為他們震怒的大日子到了，誰能站得住呢？」

以帕弗拉問候你們；他來自你們那裡，是基督耶穌的奴僕；他在禱告中，總是為你們竭力祈求：願你們成熟、站立得住，在神的一切旨意中確信不疑；

不要讓任何人用虛空的話把你們欺騙了；正是為了這些，神的震怒就臨到那些不信從的兒女身上。
