to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

All those things bring praise to his glorious grace. God freely gave us his grace because of the One he loves.

to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.

So we praise God for the glorious grace he has poured out on us who belong to his dear Son.

so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, would be to the praise of his glory.

namely, the righteousness of God through the faithfulness of Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction,for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.But they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.God publicly displayed him at his death as the mercy seat accessible through faith. This was to demonstrate his righteousness, because God in his forbearance had passed over the sins previously committed.This was also to demonstrate his righteousness in the present time, so that he would be just and the justifier of the one who lives because of Jesus’ faithfulness.

And a voice from heaven said,“ This is my one dear Son; in him I take great delight.”

He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves,

And my God will supply your every need according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

Whoever speaks, let it be with God’s words. Whoever serves, do so with the strength that God supplies, so that in everything God will be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

the people whom I formed for myself, so they might praise me.”

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his gracethat he lavished on us in all wisdom and insight.

filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God.

who is the down payment of our inheritance, until the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of his glory.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

And what if he is willing to make known the wealth of his glory on the objects of mercy that he has prepared beforehand for glory–even us, whom he has called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we would become the righteousness of God.

But the gracious gift is not like the transgression. For if the many died through the transgression of the one man, how much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one man Jesus Christ multiply to the many!And the gift is not like the one who sinned. For judgment, resulting from the one transgression, led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from the many failures led to justification.For if, by the transgression of the one man, death reigned through the one, how much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ!Consequently, just as condemnation for all people came through one transgression, so too through the one righteous act came righteousness leading to life for all people.For just as through the disobedience of the one man many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of one man many will be made righteous.

“ Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among people with whom he is pleased!”

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said,“ This is my one dear Son, in whom I take great delight. Listen to him!”

to strengthen those who mourn in Zion, by giving them a turban, instead of ashes, oil symbolizing joy, instead of mourning, a garment symbolizing praise, instead of discouragement. They will be called oaks of righteousness, trees planted by the LORD to reveal his splendor.

“ Here is my servant whom I support, my chosen one in whom I take pleasure. I have placed my spirit on him; he will make just decrees for the nations.

you yourselves, as living stones, are built up as a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood and to offer spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

This is why the Father loves me– because I lay down my life, so that I may take it back again.

With flaming fire he will mete out punishment on those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.They will undergo the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his strength,when he comes to be glorified among his saints and admired on that day among all who have believed– and you did in fact believe our testimony.

The purpose of this enlightenment is that through the church the multifaceted wisdom of God should now be disclosed to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly realms.This was according to the eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,

For all these things are for your sake, so that the grace that is including more and more people may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of God.

and be found in him, not because I have my own righteousness derived from the law, but because I have the righteousness that comes by way of Christ’s faithfulness– a righteousness from God that is in fact based on Christ’s faithfulness.

– since the eyes of your heart have been enlightened– so that you may know what is the hope of his calling, what is the wealth of his glorious inheritance in the saints,

to demonstrate in the coming ages the surpassing wealth of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

For just as the ground produces its crops and a garden yields its produce, so the sovereign LORD will cause deliverance to grow, and give his people reason to praise him in the sight of all the nations.

The Father loves the Son and has placed all things under his authority.

All the nations will hear about all the good things which I will do to them. This city will bring me fame, honor, and praise before them for the joy that I bring it. The nations will tremble in awe at all the peace and prosperity that I will provide for it.’

The LORD works everything for its own ends– even the wicked for the day of disaster.

they will say about me,“ Yes, the LORD is a powerful deliverer.”’” All who are angry at him will cower before him.All the descendants of Israel will be vindicated by the LORD and will boast in him.

then I was beside him as a master craftsman, and I was his delight day by day, rejoicing before him at all times,rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth, and delighting in its people.

Deliver me from the sword! Save my life from the claws of the wild dogs!

Listen to me, you coastlands! Pay attention, you people who live far away! The LORD summoned me from birth; he commissioned me when my mother brought me into the world.He made my mouth like a sharp sword, he hid me in the hollow of his hand; he made me like a sharpened arrow, he hid me in his quiver.He said to me,“ You are my servant, Israel, through whom I will reveal my splendor.”

and our Lord’s grace was abundant, bringing faith and love in Christ Jesus.This saying is trustworthy and deserves full acceptance:“ Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”– and I am the worst of them!But here is why I was treated with mercy: so that in me as the worst, Christ Jesus could demonstrate his utmost patience, as an example for those who are going to believe in him for eternal life.

Under his rule Judah will enjoy safety and Israel will live in security. This is the name he will go by:‘ The LORD has provided us with justice.’

“ Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is my associate,” says the LORD who rules over all. Strike the shepherd that the flock may be scattered; I will turn my hand against the insignificant ones.

Deliver by your power and answer me, so that the ones you love may be safe.
