The Spirit marks us as God’s own. We can now be sure that someday we will receive all that God has promised. That will happen after God sets all his people completely free. All these things will bring praise to his glory.

爾既得為子、天主則遣其子之神於爾心、呼阿巴、父也、

不第此也、即我儕已得聖神之初果者、中心自歎、望得義子之位、即我身之贖也、

使天主之榮、因我儕先仰賴基督者得頌讚、

兄弟乎、今我將爾曹託天主、及天主施恩之道、天主能建爾、賜爾有業於聖徒之中、

使人頌其恩寵之榮、即緣其愛子所賜我儕之恩寵、我儕賴彼、以其流血蒙救贖、得罪赦、循天主豐厚之恩寵、

惟爾曹乃蒙選之族、有王位之祭司、成聖之國、屬主之民、主召爾出幽暗、入其妙光、欲爾宣揚其德、

於爾通國、人雖鬻地、仍得贖之或作於爾所得為業之全地當許人贖所鬻之土地、若爾同族人、同族人原文作兄弟下同因貧乏而鬻其業、有本族人來代贖、則任其贖本族人所鬻者、倘無代贖者、而己有力能自贖、則當計數自鬻之年、已歷幾年、以所餘之年數之值、償於購者後、業歸本主、若無力以償、則所鬻之業、存於購者之手、直待禧年、禧年既至、業歸本主、○如人鬻城中之宅、欲贖、祗可於鬻後一年之內贖之、若年一周而不贖、則城中之宅、永歸購者歷代為業、即至禧年亦不歸原主、若鄉里無城垣者、其中之宅、視如田畝之可贖、若不贖、至禧年自歸原主、利未人所得為業之城邑、其中利未人之宅、隨時可贖、如他利未人、贖利未人於己城中所鬻之宅、至禧年乃歸原主、因在以色列人中、利未人以己城中之宅為業、惟利未人城郊之田、為利未人之恆產、永不可鬻、○

主昔日所選之會眾、所贖為主民之支派、所居之郇山、求主記念、

引之至己之聖境、至己右手所建之山、

甫有此事、可興起翹首、以爾之救贖近矣、○
