人不自知其時、魚入於網、鳥罹於羅、患難猝臨之日、世人陷於其中、亦若是也、○

譬彼水族羽族、猝罹網羅、人遘飛殃、出於莫測者亦若是。

時勢或作終局如何、人不得知、如魚之入網、網原文作惡網如鳥之入羅、禍患忽臨於人、而人陷其中亦若是、○

Moreover, no one knows when their hour will come: As fish are caught in a cruel net, or birds are taken in a snare, so people are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly upon them.

No one knows when trouble will come to them. Fish are caught in nets. Birds are taken in traps. And people are trapped by hard times that come when they don’t expect them.

For man does not know his time. Like fish that are taken in an evil net, and like birds that are caught in a snare, so the children of man are snared at an evil time, when it suddenly falls upon them.

People can never predict when hard times might come. Like fish in a net or birds in a trap, people are caught by sudden tragedy.

For certainly no one knows his time: like fish caught in a cruel net or like birds caught in a trap, so people are trapped in an evil time as it suddenly falls on them.

For indeed, a person does not know his time: like fish that are caught in a treacherous net and birds caught in a snare, so the sons of mankind are ensnared at an evil time when it suddenly falls on them.

For man also does not know his time: Like fish taken in a cruel net, Like birds caught in a snare, So the sons of men are snared in an evil time, When it falls suddenly upon them.

For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

Surely, no one knows his appointed time! Like fish that are caught in a deadly net, and like birds that are caught in a snare– just like them, all people are ensnared at an unfortunate time that falls upon them suddenly.

For man also doesn’t know his time. As the fish that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly on them.

惡人犯罪，自陷網羅；惟獨義人歡呼喜樂。

人正說「平安穩妥」的時候，災禍忽然臨到他們，如同產難臨到懷胎的婦人一樣，他們絕不能逃脫。

凡遵守命令的，必不經歷禍患；智慧人的心能辨明時候和定理。各樣事務成就都有時候和定理，因為人的苦難重壓在他身上。他不知道將來的事，因為將來如何，誰能告訴他呢？

「你們要謹慎，恐怕因貪食、醉酒，並今生的思慮累住你們的心，那日子就如同網羅忽然臨到你們；因為那日子要這樣臨到全地上一切居住的人。你們要時時警醒，常常祈求，使你們能逃避這一切要來的事，得以站立在人子面前。」

家主若知道賊甚麼時候來，就必警醒，不容賊挖透房屋，這是你們所知道的。

因為斷定罪名不立刻施刑，所以世人滿心作惡。

你實在把他們安在滑地，使他們掉在沉淪之中。他們轉眼之間成了何等的荒涼！他們被驚恐滅盡了。人睡醒了，怎樣看夢；主啊，你醒了也必照樣輕看他們的影像。

你為何使人如海中的魚，又如沒有管轄的爬物呢？他用鈎鈎住，用網捕獲，用拉網聚集他們；因此，他歡喜快樂，就向網獻祭，向網燒香，因他由此得肥美的分和富裕的食物。他豈可屢次倒空網羅，將列國的人時常殺戮，毫不顧惜呢？

挪亞的日子怎樣，人子的日子也要怎樣。那時候的人又吃又喝，又娶又嫁，到挪亞進方舟的那日，洪水就來，把他們全都滅了。又好像羅得的日子；人又吃又喝，又買又賣，又耕種又蓋造。到羅得出所多瑪的那日，就有火與硫磺從天上降下來，把他們全都滅了。人子顯現的日子也要這樣。當那日，人在房上，器具在屋裏，不要下來拿；人在田裏，也不要回家。

少年人立刻跟隨她，好像牛往宰殺之地；又像愚昧人帶鎖鍊去受刑罰，直等箭穿他的肝；如同雀鳥急入網羅，卻不知是自喪己命。

所以，災難必忽然臨到他身；他必頃刻敗壞，無法可治。

他要向惡人密布網羅；有烈火、硫磺、熱風，作他們杯中的分。

說：「巴不得你在這日子知道關係你平安的事；無奈這事現在是隱藏的，叫你的眼看不出來。因為日子將到，你的仇敵必築起土壘，周圍環繞你，四面困住你，並要掃滅你和你裏頭的兒女，連一塊石頭也不留在石頭上，因你不知道眷顧你的時候。」

神卻對他說：『無知的人哪，今夜必要你的靈魂；你所預備的要歸誰呢？』

你們在外邦人中，應當品行端正，叫那些毀謗你們是作惡的，因看見你們的好行為，便在鑒察的日子歸榮耀給神。

因為他被自己的腳陷入網中，走在纏人的網羅上。圈套必抓住他的腳跟；機關必擒獲他。活扣為他藏在土內；羈絆為他藏在路上。

故此，這罪孽在你們身上，好像將要破裂凸出來的高牆，頃刻之間忽然坍塌；

但這些人好像沒有靈性，生來就是畜類，以備捉拿宰殺的。他們毀謗所不曉得的事，正在敗壞人的時候，自己必遭遇敗壞。

因為他說：「在悅納的時候，我應允了你；在拯救的日子，我搭救了你。」看哪，現在正是悅納的時候！現在正是拯救的日子；

叫他們這已經被魔鬼任意擄去的，可以醒悟，脫離他的網羅。
