因為人類並不知道他自己的定時：魚怎樣被捉住於致禍的網裏，鳥怎樣被捉住於機檻中，人類當禍患時、災禍忽然降到他們身上時、人也怎樣被羅住。

人不自知其時、魚入於網、鳥罹於羅、患難猝臨之日、世人陷於其中、亦若是也、○

譬彼水族羽族、猝罹網羅、人遘飛殃、出於莫測者亦若是。

時勢或作終局如何、人不得知、如魚之入網、網原文作惡網如鳥之入羅、禍患忽臨於人、而人陷其中亦若是、○

Moreover, no one knows when their hour will come: As fish are caught in a cruel net, or birds are taken in a snare, so people are trapped by evil times that fall unexpectedly upon them.

No one knows when trouble will come to them. Fish are caught in nets. Birds are taken in traps. And people are trapped by hard times that come when they don’t expect them.

For man does not know his time. Like fish that are taken in an evil net, and like birds that are caught in a snare, so the children of man are snared at an evil time, when it suddenly falls upon them.

People can never predict when hard times might come. Like fish in a net or birds in a trap, people are caught by sudden tragedy.

For certainly no one knows his time: like fish caught in a cruel net or like birds caught in a trap, so people are trapped in an evil time as it suddenly falls on them.

For indeed, a person does not know his time: like fish that are caught in a treacherous net and birds caught in a snare, so the sons of mankind are ensnared at an evil time when it suddenly falls on them.

For man also does not know his time: Like fish taken in a cruel net, Like birds caught in a snare, So the sons of men are snared in an evil time, When it falls suddenly upon them.

For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

Surely, no one knows his appointed time! Like fish that are caught in a deadly net, and like birds that are caught in a snare– just like them, all people are ensnared at an unfortunate time that falls upon them suddenly.

For man also doesn’t know his time. As the fish that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly on them.

恶人因为过犯，陷于网罗；义人却欢呼喜乐。

人正在说平安稳妥的时候，毁灭性的灾祸就突然临到他们，好像生产的痛苦临到怀胎的妇人一样，他们绝不能逃脱。

遵守命令的，必不遭受灾祸；智慧人的心，晓得时机，懂得判断。各样事务成就，都有合宜的时机和定局，尽管人的灾祸重压在自己身上。他不晓得未来的事，将来要发生什么，谁能告诉他呢？

“你们应当自己小心，免得在贪食醉酒和生活的挂虑压住你们的心的时候，那日子突然临到你们，正如网罗临到全地的所有居民。你们要时刻警醒，常常祈求，好让你们能逃避这一切要发生的事，可以站在人子面前。”

你们都知道，家主若晓得窃贼什么时候来，就不会让他摸进屋里。

对恶行已判定的刑罚迟迟没有执行，世人的心就充满行恶的意图。

你实在把他们安放在滑地，使他们倒下、灭亡。他们忽然间成了多么荒凉，被突然的惊恐完全消灭。人睡醒了怎样看梦，主啊！你睡醒了，也要照样轻看他们（“他们”原文作“他们的影像”）。

你竟使人像海里的鱼，像无人管辖的爬行的动物。迦勒底人既用钩把他们钓起来，用网拖走，用鱼网收聚在一处，就欢喜快乐，向自己的网献祭，对鱼网烧香，因他们藉此收获丰富，饮食充裕。这样，他们倒空自己的网，毫不留情地继续杀戮列国。

挪亚的时代怎样，人子的时代也是怎样。当时人们吃喝嫁娶，直到挪亚进入方舟的那一天，洪水来了，把他们全都灭掉。在罗得的时代也是这样，人们吃喝买卖，耕种建造，直到罗得离开所多玛的那一天，火与硫磺从天上降下来，把他们全都灭掉。人子显现的日子也是这样。当那日，人在房顶上，器具在屋里，不要下来拿；在田里的，照样不要回家。

少年人就立刻跟随她，好像牛走向屠房，又像愚妄人带着锁链去受刑罚，直到箭矢射透他的肝；他仿佛飞鸟投入网罗，并不知道会丧失性命。

因此，灾难必忽然临到，他必突然毁灭，无法挽救。

耶和华必使火炭落在恶人身上，烈火、硫磺和旱风是他们杯中的分。

说：“巴不得你在这日子，知道关于你平安的事，但现在这事在你眼前是隐藏的。日子将到，你的仇敌必筑垒攻击你，周围环绕你，四面困住你，要摧毁你和你里面的儿女，没有一块石头留在另一块石头上面，因为你不知道那眷顾你的时期。”

神却对他说：‘无知的人哪，今天晚上，你的灵魂必被取去，你所预备的要归给谁呢？’

你们在教外人中，应当品行端正，使那些人，虽然毁谤你们是作恶的，但因为看见你们的好行为，就要在鉴察的日子颂赞神。

他的脚送自己进入网罗，他走在陷阱之上。圈套要缠住他的脚跟，网罗要罩在他身上。活扣为他藏在地里，羁绊为他埋在路上。

所以这罪孽对于你们，必像一道有了裂缝，且凸了出来，快要倒塌的高墙，在顷刻之间，就突然倒塌。

但这些人，好像没有理性的牲畜，生下来就是给人捉去宰杀的；他们毁谤自己所不知道的事，必在自己的败坏中灭亡。

因为他说：“在悦纳的时候，我应允了你；在拯救的日子，我帮助了你。”看哪！现在就是悦纳的时候，现在就是拯救的日子。

他们虽然曾经被魔鬼掳去，随从他的意思而行，或许也能醒悟过来，脱离魔鬼的陷阱。
