未來之事、人不能知、將成之事、孰能預告之、

Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come?

No one knows what lies ahead. So who can tell someone else what’s going to happen?

For he does not know what is to be, for who can tell him how it will be?

Indeed, how can people avoid what they don’t know is going to happen?

Yet no one knows what will happen because who can tell him what will happen?

If no one knows what will happen, who can tell him when it will happen?

For he does not know what will happen; So who can tell him when it will occur?

Yet no one knows what will happen because who can tell him what will happen?

For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be?

Surely no one knows the future, and no one can tell another person what will happen.

For he doesn’t know that which will be; for who can tell him how it will be?

For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare, even so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

For their calamity shall rise suddenly; And the destruction from them both, who knoweth it?

A fool also multiplieth words: yet man knoweth not what shall be; and that which shall be after him, who can tell him?

But at midnight there is a cry, Behold, the bridegroom! Come ye forth to meet him.Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are going out.But the wise answered, saying, Peradventure there will not be enough for us and you: go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.And while they went away to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage feast: and the door was shut.Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.Watch therefore, for ye know not the day nor the hour.

the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he expecteth not, and in an hour when he knoweth not,

Therefore be ye also ready; for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.

He that being often reproved hardeneth his neck Shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.

But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that aught be written unto you.For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.When they are saying, Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall in no wise escape.

Wherefore I saw that there is nothing better, than that a man should rejoice in his works; for that is his portion: for who shall bring him back to see what shall be after him?
