Obey the king’s command, because you took an oath before God to be loyal to him.

我劝你遵守王的命令；既指神起誓，理当如此。

我劝你因上帝誓言的缘故，当遵守王的命令。

我劝你因神誓言的缘故，当遵守王的命令。

我劝你遵守王的命令，因为你曾在上帝面前这样发誓。

我劝你，因为你指着神起了誓，你就要遵守王的命令。

我劝你遵守王的命令，因为你向神起了誓；

我勸你遵守王的命令；既指神起誓，理當如此。

我勸你因上帝誓言的緣故，當遵守王的命令。

我勸你因神誓言的緣故，當遵守王的命令。

我勸你，因為你指著神起了誓，你就要遵守王的命令。

王的命令你要遵守，這是為了你曾指着上帝來起誓的緣故。

我勸你遵守王的命令，因為你向神起了誓；

我曰、當守王命、因指上帝而誓矣、

既指上帝而誓、必守王命、勿謀不軌、勿致位而不辭、爾若是、恐干王怒、蓋發號出令、由王獨斷。

我言爾當守王命、既指天主而誓、自當如此、

Obey the king’s command, I say, because you took an oath before God.

I’m telling you to obey the king’s command. You promised to serve him. You made a promise to God.

I say: Keep the king’s command, because of God’s oath to him.

Obey the king since you vowed to God that you would.

Keep the king’s command because of your oath made before God.

I say,“ Keep the command of the king because of the oath before God.

I say,“ Keep the king’s commandment for the sake of your oath to God.

I counsel thee, Keep the king’s command, and that in regard of the oath of God.

Keep the king’s command because of your oath made before God.

I[ counsel thee] to keep the king’s commandment, and[ that] in regard of the oath of God.

I say,“ Keep the king’s command!” because of the oath to God.

Why then have you broken the oath you made before the LORD and disobeyed the order I gave you?”

Be subject to every human institution for the Lord’s sake, whether to a king as supremeor to governors as those he commissions to punish wrongdoers and praise those who do good.For God wants you to silence the ignorance of foolish people by doing good.Live as free people, not using your freedom as a pretext for evil, but as God’s slaves.Honor all people, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the king.

The king had mercy on Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, in light of the LORD’s oath that had been taken between David and Jonathan son of Saul.

He took one from the royal family, made a treaty with him, and put him under oath. Fear the LORD, my child, as well as the king, and do not associate with rebels,

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except by God’s appointment, and the authorities that exist have been instituted by God.So the person who resists such authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment( for rulers cause no fear for good conduct but for bad). Do you desire not to fear authority? Do good and you will receive its commendation,for it is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be in fear, for it does not bear the sword in vain. It is God’s servant to administer retribution on the wrongdoer.Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of the wrath of the authorities but also because of your conscience.

then there will be an oath to the LORD between the two of them, that he has not laid his hand on his neighbor’s goods, and its owner will accept this, and he will not have to pay.

All the officers and warriors, as well as all of King David’s sons, pledged their allegiance to King Solomon.

Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work.
