如在被虜之地、翻然易念、悔改前非、祈求於爾、自陳其過、以負咎戾、

耶和華降命於邑中、撲責斯民、苟有智慧者、無不遵從焉、

今萬有之主耶和華曰、當察爾所為、爾播多穫少、食不果腹、飲不止渴、衣不得暖、工得其金、盛於敝囊。萬有之主耶和華又曰、當察爾所為、

人慘怛、則祈禱、逸樂、則謳歌、

耶和華與、爾顯大能、彼不瞻望、惟爾熱中祐民、降火燬敵、令彼見此而愧。

我雖受難、猶以為幸、因余學爾禮儀兮、

耶和華兮、人為爾加以譴責、訓以律法者、必蒙福祉兮、如遭患難、爾錫以平康、惟作惡之人、爾投於坎阱兮、

但往學我欲矜恤、不欲祭祀之語、其意何歟、蓋我來、非招義人、乃招罪人悔改耳、○
