如今萬軍之永恆主這麼說：你們要用心想想你們所行的。你們撒種，倒撒的多，收入的卻少；你們喫，卻喫不飽；喝，卻喝不足；有得穿，卻穿不暖；得了工錢，卻把工錢裝到刺破的口袋裏！『萬軍之永恆主這麼說：你們要用心想想你們所行的。

你們中間有喫苦的麼？他應該禱告；有精神振作的麼？他應該歌頌。

永恆主啊，你的手高舉，他們仍然不看；願他們看你為人民發的熱心而慚愧；哦，願那為你敵人保留的火吞滅他們。

我遭受苦難、於我有益，為要使我學習你的律例。
