I have seen that nothing is better than when a person is happy in his activities, for that is his lot. For who will bring him to see what will occur after him?

But it will not go well for the evil person and he will not lengthen his days like a shadow, because he does not fear God.

Man is like the breath; His days are like a passing shadow.

Behold, You have made my days like hand widths, And my lifetime as nothing in Your sight; Certainly all mankind standing is a mere breath. SelahCertainly every person walks around as a fleeting shadow; They certainly make an uproar for nothing; He amasses riches and does not know who will gather them.

If no one knows what will happen, who can tell him when it will happen?
