又思未生於斯世者、未見斯人之穢行、較生而復死者、尤為幸甚。

蓋日將至、人必曰、未懷孕者、未生產者、未哺乳者、福矣、

設人生百子、又享遐齡、在世之年日甚多、而不得享所有以為福、死後亦不得安葬、以我觀之、以我觀之原文作我則曰胎死者較彼尤美、胎死者虛來暗去、無名可存、滅於幽暗之中、未見日光、毫無所知、較彼猶為安泰、

若尋獲墳墓、則欣喜踴躍、歡樂不勝、又作若見邱塋則歡欣尋獲墳墓則喜樂

主何為使我出母胎、莫若當初氣絕、無目得以見我、如此、我雖有若無、我一出胎、即舁入於墓、

我觀日下所作之事、皆屬於虛、皆如捕風、

我云惟願如鴿生翼、遠飛得安居、我即遁至遠方、居於曠野、細拉、我速逃避、脫離狂風颶風、我在城中、見有強暴爭鬥之事、求主毀滅之、使其所設之謀、分歧不成、彼晝夜游行城垣之上、毒惡禍患、徧於城內、殘害之事、常在其中、強暴與奸詐之事、不離街市、

願我在曠野、得有旅邸、則我舍棄我民、離之而去、蓋彼俱為姦淫者、悉屬奸詐之黨、主曰、彼逞舌言誑、若張弓發矢、於國中得勢、非以真誠、更端作惡、更端作惡原文作由惡進惡不識我、

我厭惡生命、因我見日下所作之事、皆不善、皆屬於虛、皆如捕風、
