傾毀其城邑、在諸良田、各擲石以填之、塞諸水源、伐諸嘉木、僅存吉哈拉薛石垣、發石之卒、環而攻之、

命之曰、爾自約但河中、於祭司足立之所、取石十二、負之過河、置於今夜將宿之處、於是約書亞召所備之以色列人中十二人、每支派一人、謂之曰、當下約但、至主爾天主之匱前、各取一石、循以色列十二支派之數、負之於肩、此石可於爾中為證、日後倘爾子孫問爾曰、此石何意、則曰、昔主之約匱過約但、河水在約匱前絕流、此石在以色列人中、永為證誌以色列人遵約書亞所命而行、於約但河中取石十二、循以色列支派之數、如主命約書亞者、負石至宿處、置之於彼、約書亞又以石十二、立於約但河中、舁約匱祭司足立之所、其石在彼、至今猶存、

祭司對大衛曰、我手無常餅、惟有聖餅、如僕從未近婦方可給、大衛謂祭司曰、自我離家至今三日、我儕未近婦、僕從之器清潔、餅雖置之於聖器、區別為聖、亦可視如常餅、又作我儕離家時先三日未近婦我行此道雖為事餅置於我之器仍可為潔

將押沙龍屍擲於林中大阱、其上叠一大石壘、以色列人逃遁、各歸其家、家原文作幕○押沙龍尚存時、曾曰、我無子以傳我名、故在王谷立一石柱、名以己名、至於今日人尚稱之為押沙龍柱、○
