萬物由父賜我、父之外無人識子、子及子所樂以父示者之外、無人識父、

此外、我又察得天主造人、本為正直、惟人則多計謀、逞機巧、

播於荊棘中者、指人聽道、而此世之思慮、及貨財之迷惑、蔽其道則不結實、

彼既不願存天主於念、天主聽其存邪僻之心、行所不當行者、

全能之主、我儕不能測之、能力至大、公義仁慈無邊、不無故降災於人、不無故降災於人或作不與人辯論
