上帝所悅者、賜以智慧歡樂、若惡人則勞苦之、以其所積貨財、賜於善良、凡百之事、無非捕風捉影、以此益見矣。

神喜悦谁，就给谁智慧、知识，和喜乐；惟有罪人，神使他劳苦，叫他将所收聚的、所堆积的归给神所喜悦的人。这也是虚空，也是捕风。

彼所悅者、錫以智慧、知識歡樂、惟以憂勞加於罪人、使其所收所積、歸於上帝所悅者、斯亦虛空、乃為捕風、

天主所悅者、賜以智慧、知識、歡樂、獲罪於天主者、天主則畀以收斂積蓄之任、終歸於天主所悅者用、此亦屬於虛、亦如捕風、

To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness to the person who pleases him. But to a sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth. Then the sinner must hand it over to the one who pleases God. That doesn’t have any meaning either. It’s like chasing the wind.

For to the one who pleases him God has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, but to the sinner he has given the business of gathering and collecting, only to give to one who pleases God. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.

God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy to those who please him. But if a sinner becomes wealthy, God takes the wealth away and gives it to those who please him. This, too, is meaningless— like chasing the wind.

For to the person who is pleasing in his sight, he gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy; but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and accumulating in order to give to the one who is pleasing in God’s sight. This too is futile and a pursuit of the wind.

For to a person who is good in His sight, He has given wisdom and knowledge and joy, while to the sinner He has given the task of gathering and collecting so that he may give to one who is good in God’s sight. This too is futility and striving after wind.

作善之人、業遺子孫、惡者之財、為義者所得。

雖藏金若泥沙、積衣若邱陵、而衣適為義人之衣、金適為善人之金、

爾曩所求、未托我名、今求而得之、則爾喜甚、

宜訓於有眾曰、善者必蒙綏祉、而獲善報、惡者必遘凶災、而有惡報、

貸人以金、重權子母、以益其財者、所積之金、必為濟貧之人所得。

希西家在猶大全地、悉循斯例、行善於耶和華前、真實無妄。在上帝殿供役事、遵律例、守禁令、崇上帝、皆誠心為之、爰得福祉。

人得智慧、則蒙綏祉、市之愈白金、得之愈黃金、貴於琅玕、凡所慕者、無能比儗。得智慧者、福祉遐齡、左宜右有、從其道者、享懽樂、得平康。凡得之者、如得生命之樹、存之者、可蒙福祉。

上帝感爾、俾宗基督耶穌、而智由以成、義由以稱、聖由以作、罪由以贖、其實皆由上帝也、經云、誇者、當以主而誇也、

二人在上帝前、義者也、遵主誡命禮儀而行、無間然矣、

耶和華謂挪亞曰、我鑒觀斯世、惟汝為義、爾率眷屬、以登方舟。

基督之道、充塞爾中、懷厥智慧彼此勸誨、以詩章、歌頌、神賦、虔心頌主、所言所行、必為主耶穌名而為之、亦賴耶穌謝父上帝矣、

我儕聞之、為爾祈禱不輟、願爾感聖神得智慧、備知其旨、所行宜乎主、大悅其意、結果為善、知上帝益深、又願爾得主大力、實能忍耐喜樂、我謝父、俾我眾得共稱聖徒之業於光明之域、

蓋上帝國不在飲食、惟義與和、與聖神賜我之樂、行此而服基督者、為上帝所喜、世人所悅、

若夫神之結實、仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、慈祥、良善、忠信、溫柔、操節、為此者非法所能禁、

由上之智、即廉潔、和平、溫良、寛恕、恆存矜恤善行、絕諸偏視偽為、

夫人之聰明、皆賴上主之神所賦。

天下之事、我已灼見、無非捕風捉影。
