始我在以弗所、甘受鬥獸之濫刑、若無復生、斯何益哉、寧圖飲食、明日死至矣、

乃自謂曰、我有多物、積為歷年之用、此心可安然飲食喜樂也、上帝曰、無知者乎、今夜將索爾魂、則所備者誰歸、

爾與子女僕婢、必欣喜在爾上帝耶和華前。利未人主於爾家者、既無恆業、亦必使同樂。

然上帝善視人、雨降自天、果生以時、賜我贏糧、喜溢於心、如是、證己為上帝矣、

上帝賜人貨財、錫人尊榮、無所不有、己不敢逸、他人享之、此屬於虛、深可嘆也。

維爾小子、幼而嬉戲、其志愉快、隨心所欲、隨目所視、當思上帝必鞫爾、故必去欲絕邪、蓋幼稚之時、亦屬於虛。

萬有之主耶和華曰、如爾不聽、不悉心以思維、歸榮我名、我必降爾以災、以爾純嘏、變為咒詛、因爾不思、我已詛爾、

汝往哉、食其珍錯、飲其甘旨、無者頒之、此乃聖日、奉事耶和華、勿復殷憂、惟賴耶和華、眾姓臚歡。
