我心自謂、其來、我以逸樂試爾、可享福祉、斯亦虛空、

我心里说：“来吧，我以喜乐试试你，你好享福！”谁知，这也是虚空。

我心里说：“来吧，让我用喜乐试试你，使你享福！”看哪，这也是虚空。

我自己心里说：“来吧，我用享乐试试你，让你看看有什么好处。”想不到，这也是虚空。

我对自己说：“来吧，我要用享乐试验你，让你看看有什么好处！”看哪，这也是虚空！

我心裏說：「來吧，我以喜樂試試你，你好享福！」誰知，這也是虛空。

我心裏說：「來吧，讓我用喜樂試試你，使你享福！」看哪，這也是虛空。

我心裏說：「來吧，讓我用喜樂試試你，使你享福！」看哪，這也是虛空。

我竊自維、試耽宴樂、試樂逸遊、明知歸於無有。

我自思曰、原文作我心中曰不如試宴樂、享安逸、乃知此亦屬於虛、

I said to myself,“ Come now, I will test you with pleasure to find out what is good.” But that also proved to be meaningless.

I said to myself,“ Come on. I’ll try out pleasure. I want to find out if it is good.” But it also proved to be meaningless.

I said in my heart,“ Come now, I will test you with pleasure; enjoy yourself.” But behold, this also was vanity.

I said to myself,“ Come on, let’s try pleasure. Let’s look for the‘ good things’ in life.” But I found that this, too, was meaningless.

I said to myself,“ Go ahead, I will test you with pleasure; enjoy what is good.” But it turned out to be futile.

I said to myself,“ Come now, I will test you with pleasure. So enjoy yourself.” And behold, it too was futility.

I said in my heart,“ Come now, I will test you with mirth; therefore enjoy pleasure”; but surely, this also was vanity.

I said in my heart, Come now, I will prove thee with mirth; therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also was vanity.

I said to myself,“ Go ahead, I will test you with pleasure; enjoy what is good.” But it turned out to be futile.

I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also[ is] vanity.

I thought to myself,“ Come now, I will try self-indulgent pleasure to see if it is worthwhile.” But I found that it also is futile.

I said in my heart,“ Come now, I will test you with mirth: therefore enjoy pleasure;” and behold, this also was vanity.

我將謂我靈曰、靈乎、爾多財貨積為歷年之用、可安然飲食喜樂也、

我遂揄揚喜樂、蓋飲食懽愉、人在日下無愈於此、上帝使人生於日下、此福恆在勤勞之中、○

我心自謂、義者惡者、上帝必鞫之、蓋諸事百工、各有其時、言及世人、我心自謂、上帝欲試之、使知其與獸無異、

亞蘭王曰、爾往哉、我致書於以色列王、乃縵遂往、攜銀十他連得、金六千舍客勒、衣十襲、

彼此互議曰、我其作甎、爇以成之、於是以甎代石、石漆代泥、又曰、我其築城與臺、臺頂及天、以揚我名、庶免散於四方、

維爾少者、幼時其欣喜、中心懽忭、行爾心所欲、視爾目所悅、惟當知上帝必為此諸事鞫爾、

爾在世奢侈宴樂、饜爾心於宰割之日、

有富者衣紫袍枲布、日事華靡宴樂、

蓋我儕素亦無知、悖逆、迷惑、役於情慾佚樂、以狠毒媢嫉度生、見惡於人、亦彼此相惡、

我心自謂、愚者所遭、我亦將遭之、我雖多智、有何益哉、我心自謂、斯亦虛空、

彼昔自榮與奢華若何、使之痛苦悲哀亦若何、蓋彼自謂我位后矣、非嫠也、決不至悲哀也、故一日間、諸災並臻、即死亡悲哀饑荒、盡焚以火、蓋鞫之之主上帝、乃有能者也、

主耶和華啟迪我耳、我未違逆、亦未退避、

愚人意謂無有上帝、其人邪惡、所為可憎、無一行善兮、

爾云余面是尋、我心對曰、耶和華歟、我必爾面是尋兮、

意謂我躬不致動搖、累世不經挫折、

今我示爾、我葡萄園、何以處之、我必撤其籬、俾見吞噬、毀其垣、俾遭蹂躪、

若我、在利達時、自謂永不動搖兮、耶和華歟、昔爾施恩、使我立於固山、及爾掩面、我則煩擾兮、

我儕臨格、淆其言語、使彼此不通、

凡爾燃火、自環以火炬者、其行於爾之火焰、與所燃之火炬中、爾必慘然而臥、我手使然也、

我心自謂、我獲大智、勝於先我在耶路撒冷者、我心多歷智識、我復專心以明智慧、而知狂妄愚蒙、乃覺亦屬捕風、

噫、爾言今日明日將往某邑、寓彼一年、貿易獲利、

智者心在居喪之家、愚者心在歡樂之家、

噫、富者歟、宜悲泣號咷、因苦難將臨於爾也、

陰間痛苦之際、舉目遙見亞伯拉罕、有拉撒路在其懷、
