你们种多收少，吃不饱，喝不足，穿不暖，挣来的工钱却放在漏口袋中。”万军之耶和华说：“你们要认真反省自己的行为。你们要上山伐木，重建这殿，好让我欢喜并得到尊崇。这是耶和华说的。你们盼望丰收，结果收的很少；你们把收成带回家，我却把它们吹走。这是什么缘故？万军之耶和华告诉你们，‘因为你们都忙于建自家的房子，任由我的殿一片废墟。所以，天不降雨露，地无出产。我让旱灾临到大地、群山、五谷、葡萄、橄榄等地里的出产以及人畜，使你们一切的劳碌付诸东流。’”

你们要为自己种植公义，就能收获慈爱。现在是寻求耶和华的时候，你们要犁开刚硬的心田，等祂来使公义如雨浇灌你们。

要记住：“少种的少收，多种的多收。”

如今我不会像从前那样对待这些余民了。这是万军之耶和华说的。因为他们必平安地撒种，葡萄树必结果子，土地必出产五谷，天必降下甘霖，我要把这些福气赐给这些余民。

收割的人不但可以得到报酬，而且可以为永生收获果实，叫撒种的和收割的一同快乐。俗语说得好，‘那人撒种，这人收割。’我派你们去收割那些你们没有劳作的庄稼，别人劳苦，你们享受他们劳苦的成果。”

我曾用虫灾、霉灾和冰雹毁灭你们的作物，你们仍没有归向我。这是耶和华说的。九月二十四日是我的殿奠定根基的日子。你们要思想这个日子，要认真思想。虽然粮仓里没有种子，葡萄树、无花果树、石榴树和橄榄树没结果子，但从今以后，我要赐福给你们。’”

亚波罗算什么？保罗算什么？我们不过是上帝的仆人，各人照着主所赐的才干引导你们信靠上帝。我栽种，亚波罗灌溉，但使之生长的是上帝。所以栽种的和灌溉的都算不得什么，一切都在于使之生长的上帝。

凡你的手能做的，都要尽力去做，因为在你要去的阴间没有工作，没有计划，也没有知识和智慧。

祂又说：“上帝的国就像一个人在地上撒种。他天天日出而作，日落而息。种子就在他不知不觉中渐渐发芽长大。大地会使种子生长，先发苗后吐穗，最终结出饱满的籽粒。庄稼成熟后，他就拿起镰刀来收割，因为收成的时候到了。”

无论时机好坏，都要坚持传道，以百般的忍耐和教导督责人，警戒人，勉励人。

不过，有些塞浦路斯和古利奈的信徒到了安提阿之后，也向希腊人传讲主耶稣的福音。上帝的能力伴随着他们，有许多人信了主。

我仔细思想、探究这些事，就知道义人、智者及他们的行事为人都由上帝掌管，人无法知道前面等待自己的是爱还是恨。
