He will give their kings into your hand, and you will wipe out their names from under heaven. No one will be able to stand up against you; you will destroy them.

因为耶和华已经把又大又强的列国从你们面前赶出去；至于你们，直到今日，还没有一人能在你们面前站立得住。

耶和华对约书亚说：“你不要怕他们，因为我已经把他们交在你手里了；他们必没有一人能在你面前站立得住。”

必没有一人能在你们面前站立得住；耶和华你们的神，必照着他对你们所说的，使害怕和惊惧你们的心临到你们将要踏足之地的居民。

你一生的日子必没有一人能在你面前立得住；我怎样与摩西同在，也必照样与你同在；我决不离开你，也不离弃你。

你不要管我，我要消灭他们，把他们的名字从天下除去；我要使你成为一个比他们更强更大的国。’

众人把那五个王带到约书亚那里去的时候，约书亚把所有的以色列人都召了来，对那些与他同去作战的军长说：“你们走前来，把脚踏在这些王的颈项上。”他们就走前来，把脚踏在那些王的颈项上。约书亚对他们说：“你们不要惧怕，不要惊慌；总要坚强勇敢，因为耶和华必这样对待你们要攻打的所有仇敌。”

约书亚在这一次战役中击败了这些王和占领了他们的地，是因为耶和华以色列的神为以色列作战。

为攻击你而制成的武器，都没有效用；在审判的时候兴起来与你争辩的舌头，你都必定它为有罪。这是耶和华众仆人的产业，他们的义是从我而得；这是耶和华说的。

我必伸手攻击犹大，攻击耶路撒冷所有的居民。我必从这地方除掉巴力所余下的，除掉拜偶像的祭司的名字，以及耶和华的祭司；

耶和华必不肯饶恕他；耶和华的怒气和愤恨必向这人发作，这书上所写的一切咒诅都要降在那人身上，耶和华也必从天下涂抹他的名。

但靠着爱我们的那一位，我们在这一切事上就得胜有余了。

耶和华对摩西说：“我要把亚玛力的名号从天下完全抹掉；你要把话写在书上作记念，也要告诉约书亚。”

你斥责了列国，灭绝了恶人；你涂抹了他们的名，直到永永远远。

你们要对他们这样说：“那些没有创造天地的神，必从地上、从天下消灭。”

以色列人在约旦河东向日出之地击杀了那地的两个王，占领了他们的地，就是从亚嫩谷直到黑门山，和东边的亚拉巴全境。这两个王，一个是住在希实本的亚摩利人的王西宏；他管辖的地区，是从亚嫩谷旁的亚罗珥起，包括山谷中部和基列的一半，直到雅博河，就是亚扪人的境界；东边有亚拉巴，上至基尼烈海，下至亚拉巴海，就是盐海，东边是往伯．耶西末的路；南边直到毗斯迦的山麓。另一个是巴珊王噩（按照《马索拉文本》，“巴珊王噩”作“巴珊王噩的境界”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译），他是利乏音人的余民，住在亚斯他录和以得来；他管辖的地区，是黑门山、撒迦、巴珊全地，直到基述人和玛迦人的境界，还有基列的一半，直到希实本王西宏的境界。耶和华的仆人摩西和以色列人把这两个王击杀了。耶和华的仆人摩西把地分给流本人、迦得人和玛拿西半个支派的人作产业。

义人的名必蒙称赞，恶人的名字却必腐朽。

所以耶和华你的神使你脱离四围所有的仇敌，在耶和华你的神赐给你作产业的地上，得享太平的时候，你务要把亚玛力这名号从天下涂抹，不可忘记。”
