And the LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as[ it is] at this day.

The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every[ word] that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

By humility[ and] the fear of the LORD[ are] riches, and honour, and life.

But ye that did cleave unto the LORD your God[ are] alive every one of you this day.

Say ye to the righteous, that[ it shall be] well[ with him]: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?Thy wickedness[ may hurt] a man as thou[ art]; and thy righteousness[ may profit] the son of man.

If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but[ if] thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear[ it].

And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
