Deuteronomy 4:23
Be on guard so that you do not forget the covenant of the LORD your God that he has made with you, and that you do not make an image of any kind, just as he has forbidden you.

Hebrews 9:19-23
For when Moses had spoken every command to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and goats with water and scarlet wool and hyssop and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,and said,“ This is the blood of the covenant that God has commanded you to keep.”And both the tabernacle and all the utensils of worship he likewise sprinkled with blood.Indeed according to the law almost everything was purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.So it was necessary for the sketches of the things in heaven to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves required better sacrifices than these.

Exodus 19:5-8
And now, if you will diligently listen to me and keep my covenant, then you will be my special possession out of all the nations, for all the earth is mine,and you will be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words that you will speak to the Israelites.”So Moses came and summoned the elders of Israel. He set before them all these words that the LORD had commanded him,and all the people answered together,“ All that the LORD has commanded we will do!” So Moses brought the words of the people back to the LORD.

Hebrews 8:6-13
But now Jesus has obtained a superior ministry, since the covenant that he mediates is also better and is enacted on better promises.For if that first covenant had been faultless, no one would have looked for a second one.But showing its fault, God says to them,“ Look, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will complete a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.“ It will not be like the covenant that I made with their fathers, on the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not continue in my covenant and I had no regard for them, says the Lord.“ For this is the covenant that I will establish with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and I will inscribe them on their hearts. And I will be their God and they will be my people.“ And there will be no need at all for each one to teach his countryman or each one to teach his brother saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ since they will all know me, from the least to the greatest.“ For I will be merciful toward their evil deeds, and their sins I will remember no longer.”When he speaks of a new covenant, he makes the first obsolete. Now what is growing obsolete and aging is about to disappear.

Exodus 24:8
So Moses took the blood and splashed it on the people and said,“ This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
