黽勉誨子、處於室、行於途、或寢或興、恆以此為訓。

耶和華之巨能異跡、我列祖所流傳、余聞而知之、必告後世之子孫兮。

曰我今日告爾之言、汝必藏諸衷曲、亦當諭諸子孫、從此律法。

父勿使子怨怒必宗主教誨養育之、

隱微之事屬我上帝耶和華、所啟示者屬於我儕、爰及子孫、俾我守此律法之言、歷世勿替。

爾小子、宜聽我言、傾耳以聆。常在目前、永藏衷曲。拳拳服膺、則獲生命、享平康。操存此心、生命以立。

當告子孫、昔出埃及、耶和華拯我儕、故行此禮。耶和華以大能導爾曹出埃及、故其法律、必述於爾口、錄於爾手、服於爾顙、誌之勿失。

二三子、宜聽父訓、而志於道。我必以良言誨爾、爾其毋違。我昔幼稚、父母鍾愛、父誨我曰、當守我道、遵我教、則可得生。宜求智慧、服膺勿失、毋棄我道。必也願受真理、不敢遐棄、則可保身而無虞。眾物雖可欲、惟道尤為急務。如爾尊道、則尊榮必矣、如爾受道、則英華必矣、猶戴花冠、猶加榮冕。爾小子、聽我言、可享遐齡。我訓爾以智、導爾以道。維爾徐行、步履從容、爾雖疾趨、無虞失足。守遺訓而不失、則可得生。

所受所聞之道、爾當服膺、而悛厥過、如爾不儆醒、我必襲爾、猶盜猝至、爾不能料其何時、

爾小子、憶念我法、恪守我命、可得遐齡、可享平康。矜憫恆懷、真實無妄、此道勿離、懸於爾頸、銘於爾心、

爾小子、心歸乎我、目注乎道。

今我年邁、皓然白首、毋我遐棄、我將以爾能力、訓誨斯世、爰及後人兮、

爾小子、宜聽父訓、毋棄母儀。

爾小子、宜守智慧、常目在之、

故尤當務所聞之道、惟恐或遺、

此可為徵於爾中、越至後日、倘爾子孫詰爾曰、斯石何意、必曰、昔耶和華法匱、濟約但時、於其前河水絕流、此石為誌、使以色列族永憶勿忘。

爾小子聽之、我將以畏耶和華之道示爾兮。欲享遐齡、納多福。必也捫汝舌、勿出惡言、緘汝口、勿道詭詐、棄惡歸善、和衷共濟。耶和華青睞義人、俯聞其祈兮、作惡者流、則震怒之、不許垂名後世兮。

予以爾言、藏之於心、免余陷罪觸法兮、

告以色列族曰、越至後世、爾之子孫、倘詰爾曰、立石何意。

厥後若爾子孫詰爾、行此曷故、爾宜告之、耶和華以大能導我出埃及、脫我於賤役、法老剛愎厥心、不釋我出境、耶和華遍戮埃及人之初胎男子、首生牡畜、故我以首生牡畜、獻祭耶和華、其初胎男子、則以金贖。耶和華以大能導我出埃及、故我必錄於手、服於顙。

爾小子、宜恪守我言、服膺我命。

今作謳歌、誨以色列族、使其口誦、我佑斯民、而斯民違我、以歌為證。

厥行即信之功效、而信以之全備、

斯道、主始言之、聞者徵明於我儕、

昔在何烈山、耶和華由火中諭汝、未睹其像、故當謹恪、

是故聽道宜慎、蓋有者、將與之、無者、即其所自以為有、將奪之、○

慎勿忘爾上帝耶和華所立之約、勿雕偶像、干犯厥命、

生者能頌美爾、余今得生、揄揚爾名、維爾真實無妄、父言之、子聞之、世傳勿替。

凡逆爾命、不遵爾所諭者、必死毋赦、宜強乃志、壯乃心。
