You were shown these things so that you might know that the Lord is God; besides him there is no other.

那经学家对耶稣说：“老师，是的，你说的很对，神是独一的，除了他以外再没有别的神。

到了献晚祭的时候，以利亚先知近前来，说：“亚伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的神耶和华，求你今天使人知道你是在以色列中的神，我是你的仆人，又是奉你的命令行这一切事。耶和华啊，求你应允我，应允我！使这民知道你耶和华是神，又知道是你使这民的心再回转过来的。”

耶和华以色列的王，以色列的救赎主、万军之耶和华这样说：“我是首先的，我是末后的；除我以外，再没有真神。

全地的人哪！你们都要归向我，都要得救。因为我是神，再没有别的神。

大卫回答那非利士人：“你来攻击我是靠刀、靠矛、靠枪，但我来攻击你是靠万军之耶和华的名；万军之耶和华就是你所辱骂的以色列军队的神。今天耶和华要把你交在我手里，我必击杀你，砍下你的头。今天我还要把非利士人军队的尸体给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽吃。这样，全地的人就都知道以色列中有一位神。也使这些人群都知道，耶和华拯救人不是靠刀，不是靠枪，因为战争的胜败在于耶和华，他必把你们交在我们的手里。”

现在你们要知道，只有我是那一位，除我以外，并没有别的神；我使人死，也使人活；我打伤，我也医治；没有人可以从我的手里抢救出去。

现在，耶和华我们的神啊，求你从他的手中把我们拯救出来，地上万国就可以知道只有你耶和华才是神。”

使他们知道只有你的名是耶和华，唯有你是掌管全地的至高者。

耶和华啊，万神之中有谁像你呢？有谁像你荣耀圣洁，可颂可畏，施行奇事呢？

耶稣回答：“第一重要的是：‘以色列啊，你要听！主我们的神是独一的主。

我要把灾祸加在他们身上，把我的箭向他们射尽。

我们知道神的儿子已经来了，并且赐给我们悟性，使我们能认识那位真实者。我们也在那位真实者里面，就是在他儿子耶稣基督里面。这一位就是真神，也是永远的生命。孩子们，你们要保守自己远离偶像。

所以今天你要知道，也要记在心里；天上地下，只有耶和华是神；除他以外，再没有别的神了。

因此，人必说：“义人果然有善报；在世上确有一位施行审判的神。”
