我要把你們分散在萬國中，我又拔出刀來追趕你們；你們的地成為荒涼，你們的城市變成荒場。

“米設、土巴和它們所有的人民都在那裡；他們的墳墓都在米設和土巴的周圍；他們都是沒有受割禮的，是被刀所殺的；他們曾使驚恐散布在活人之地。

求你記念你吩咐你僕人摩西的話，說：‘你們若是不忠，我就把你們分散在萬民中。但如果你們回心轉意歸向我，謹守遵行我的誡命，即使在你們被趕逐的天邊，我也必從那裡把他們招聚回來，帶他們到我選擇給我的名居住的地方那裡去。’
