當時我陟山、受其石碑、即耶和華與爾所立之約、居山凡歷四旬晝夜、不食餅、不飲水、耶和華以手書二碑、賜之於我、昔民大會之日、耶和華在山、火焰中、所垂之誡、書於石上。四旬後耶和華以盟約之二碑賜我、

當時耶和華諭我曰、仍製二碑、必遵前式、亦作木匱、陟山覲我、昔在石上、勒以箴言、為爾所毀、我今復書、當藏於匱。於是我以皂莢木作匱、製二石碑、與前無異、執以登山。民會之日、耶和華在山、由火中、以十誡諭爾、循其前言、書於碑上、錫之於我、我旋踵下山、以二碑藏所作之匱、遵耶和華命、至今猶存。

宇內屬我、爾果聽我言、守我約、則於列國中、我必以爾為寶、

其榮光狀如火焰、顯於山巔、以色列族無不目擊。摩西登山入雲、凡歷四旬、日夜在焉。

有炷香金鼎、嵌金約匱、內藏嗎嗱、盛以金壺、與亞倫萌芽杖、約碑二、

摩西召以色列族、告之曰、我今所傳之法度禮儀爾其聽之、當學習、當恪守、昔在何烈、我上帝耶和華與我立約、非與我祖立約、乃與我儕、今日尚存者、立約。山上火中、耶和華與爾晤對而言、當時爾懼火、不敢陟山、我在耶和華爾曹間、以耶和華言告爾、曰、我耶和華爾之上帝、導爾出埃及、脫汝於賤役、余而外不可別有上帝。毋雕偶像、天上地下水中百物、勿作像像之、毋拜跪、毋崇奉、以我耶和華即爾之上帝、斷不容以他上帝匹我、惡我者禍之、自父及子、至三四世、愛我守我誡者、福之、至千百世。爾上帝耶和華之名、勿妄稱、妄稱者罪無赦。恪守安息日、以為聖日、遵耶和華爾上帝之命、六日間宜操作、越至七日、則耶和華爾上帝之安息日也、是日爾與子女僕婢牛驢牲畜、及遠人主於爾家者、皆勿操作、使爾僕婢安息、與爾無異。當憶疇昔、爾在埃及、為人服役、爾之上帝耶和華以大能巨力、救爾出彼、諭爾恪守安息日焉。敬爾父母、遵爾上帝耶和華命、則納福享壽、於爾上帝耶和華所錫之地。毋殺人。毋行淫。毋攘竊。毋妄證。毋貪人妻室、宅第、田畝、僕婢、牛驢、與凡屬於人者。○

摩西遵命傳誡與民、取牛羊血和以水、以絳綿束牛膝草、灑書與民、曰、此上帝所論爾之約之血、

昔摩西面暫榮、以色列人不能注目視彼、夫以舊典致死之法鐫諸石、其榮且如此、
