使其受饑而體瘦、見消於熱疫毒癘、使野獸之齒害之、腹行者之毒傷之、

I will send wasting famine against them, consuming pestilence and deadly plague; I will send against them the fangs of wild beasts, the venom of vipers that glide in the dust.

I will send them hunger. It will make them weak. I will send terrible sickness. I will send deadly plagues. I will send wild animals that will tear them apart. Snakes that glide through the dust will bite them.

又要使饑荒和惡獸到你那裏，叫你喪子，瘟疫和流血的事也必盛行在你那裏；我也要使刀劍臨到你。這是我－耶和華說的。」

我若使惡獸經過糟踐那地，使地荒涼，以致因這些獸，人都不得經過；

耶和華說：「我命定四樣害他們，就是刀劍殺戮、狗類撕裂、空中的飛鳥，和地上的野獸吞吃毀滅；

我若出往田間，就見有被刀殺的；我若進入城內，就見有因饑荒患病的；連先知帶祭司在國中往來，也是毫無知識。

就是勇士的利箭和羅騰木的炭火。

因飢餓燥熱，我們的皮膚就黑如爐。

也不怕黑夜行的瘟疫，或是午間滅人的毒病。

他們必死得甚苦，無人哀哭，必不得葬埋，必在地上像糞土，必被刀劍和饑荒滅絕；他們的屍首必給空中的飛鳥和地上的野獸作食物。」

雖然藏在迦密山頂，我必搜尋，捉出他們來；雖然從我眼前藏在海底，我必命蛇咬他們；

主耶和華如此說：「我將這四樣大災－就是刀劍、饑荒、惡獸、瘟疫降在耶路撒冷，將人與牲畜從其中剪除，豈不更重嗎？

豺狼必與羊羔同食；獅子必吃草與牛一樣；塵土必作蛇的食物。在我聖山的遍處，這一切都不傷人，不害物。這是耶和華說的。

在他前面有瘟疫流行；在他腳下有熱症發出。

他以安靜為佳，以肥地為美，便低肩背重，成為服苦的僕人。

因他面前的光輝，他的厚雲行過便有冰雹火炭。耶和華也在天上打雷；至高者發出聲音便有冰雹火炭。他射出箭來，使仇敵四散；多多發出閃電，使他們擾亂。

想望耶和華日子來到的有禍了！你們為何想望耶和華的日子呢？那日黑暗沒有光明，景況好像人躲避獅子又遇見熊，或是進房屋以手靠牆，就被蛇咬。

耶和華神對蛇說：你既做了這事，就必受咒詛，比一切的牲畜野獸更甚；你必用肚子行走，終身吃土。

你在仇敵圍困窘迫之中，必吃你本身所生的，就是耶和華－你神所賜給你的兒女之肉。

吃奶孩子的舌頭因乾渴貼住上膛；孩童求餅，無人擘給他們。素來吃美好食物的，現今在街上變為孤寒；素來臥朱紅褥子的，現今躺臥糞堆。都因我眾民的罪孽比所多瑪的罪還大；所多瑪雖然無人加手於她，還是轉眼之間被傾覆。錫安的貴冑素來比雪純淨，比奶更白；他們的身體比紅寶玉更紅，像光潤的藍寶石一樣。現在他們的面貌比煤炭更黑，以致在街上無人認識；他們的皮膚緊貼骨頭，枯乾如同槁木。餓死的不如被刀殺的，因為這是缺了田間的土產，就身體衰弱，漸漸消滅。

耶和華要用癆病、熱病、火症、瘧疾、刀劍、旱風、霉爛攻擊你。這都要追趕你，直到你滅亡。
