惟此諸族之邑、爾上帝耶和華賜爾為業、凡有氣息者、勿留其一、赫人、亞摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人、爾必盡行殄滅、循爾上帝耶和華命、

爾其慎之、所往之地、勿與其居民立約、恐為爾之坎阱、必毀其壇、碎其柱像、斫其木偶、勿崇奉他神、蓋耶和華乃忌邪之上帝、名為忌邪、勿與居民立約、恐彼狥欲、從其神而獻祭、招爾共食祭品、而爾取其女妻爾子、其女狥欲從其神、使爾子亦狥欲從之、

毋與其人其神立約、毋容其居爾土、恐使爾獲罪於我、若奉其神、必為爾之坎阱、

必於爾前驅其居民、壞其雕刻之木石、鎔鑄之偶像、毀厥崇邱、必取其地而居之、蓋我以斯土賜汝為業、必掣籤分地、按爾室家、人眾則給地多、人寡則給地少、各隨所掣之籤、循其宗族、得以為業、斯土之民、爾不驅逐、則爾所遺者、必為爾目中之刺、脇下之棘、擾爾於所居之地、如是我將罰爾、猶欲罰彼然、

爾上帝耶和華必以之付爾、大擾亂之、至於盡絕、亦付其王於爾手、爾必滅其名於天下、莫能禦爾、迨爾殲之、其神之雕像、必焚以火、其上金銀、勿貪勿取、免爾因此陷於坎阱、以其為爾上帝耶和華所惡也、

勿懼之、當憶爾上帝耶和華、所行於法老與埃及之事、
