For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are. If you have been rebellious against the Lord while I am still alive and with you, how much more will you rebel after I die!

说：‘我必掩面不顾他们，要看看他们的结局怎样；因为他们是乖曲的一代，心里没有信实的人。

自从我认识了你们那一天起，你们就常常悖逆耶和华。

因为我知道你是顽固的，你的颈项是铁的，你的额是铜的，

现在你们不可顽固，像你们的列祖那样；要顺服耶和华，进入他永远分别为圣的圣所，事奉耶和华你们的神，使他的烈怒转离你们。

免得他们像他们的列祖，成了顽梗悖逆的一代，心不坚定的一代，他们的心对神不忠。

“你们颈项刚硬、心和耳都未受割礼的人哪！你们时常抗拒圣灵，你们的祖先怎样，你们也怎样。

他们很快就偏离了我吩咐他们的道路，为自己铸造了一个牛像，向它跪拜，向它献祭，说：‘以色列啊，这就是你的神，就是把你从埃及地领出来的那位。’”耶和华对摩西说：“我看这人民，真是硬着颈项的人民。

你要知道，耶和华你的神把这美地赐给你作产业，并不是因着你的义；你本来是顽固的民族。“你要记住，不可忘记，你在旷野怎样惹耶和华你的神发怒；自从你出了埃及地的那天起，直到你们来到这地方，你们常是反抗耶和华的。
