洎乎多遭災禍、斯歌在其後裔之口、尚未遺忘、必為其證、蓋我未導之入所誓賜之地、已知其所圖、

我誓以斯土錫於斯民、未導入彼之時、已知其性情、必作不端、迨厥子孫遭難遇害、不可勝數、必口誦斯歌、不致遺忘、斯歌亦可為證。○

迨遇多災多難、此歌既在其子孫口中諷誦不忘、即可向彼作證、我所誓許斯民之地、今我未導彼入之之時、我已知其心懷與其所將為者、

以法蓮做了妓女，我一清二楚；以色列玷污了自己，也瞞不過我。」

耶穌卻不信任他們，因為祂洞悉萬人。不用別人告訴祂，祂也深知人的內心。

「『主耶和華說，「那時你必心起歹念，籌畫惡謀。你必說，我要攻打那沒有圍牆和城門保護的鄉村，毀滅那毫無戒備、安然居住的百姓。

耶和華聞到這燔祭的馨香，心想：「雖然人從小就心存惡念，但我再不會因為人的緣故而咒詛大地，再不會毀滅一切生靈。

我曾在乾旱的曠野照顧你們，但你們吃得飽足以後，就心高氣傲，忘記了我。

我或坐下或起來，你都知道，你從遠處就知道我的心思意念。

耶和華看見人罪惡深重，心中終日思想惡事，

我從太初就預言末後的事，從亙古就宣佈將來的事。我的旨意必成就，我的計劃必實現。

上帝照著自己的計劃和預知把耶穌交在你們手裡，你們藉著邪惡之人的手把祂釘死在十字架上了。

以色列家啊，在曠野的四十年間，你們向我獻過祭物和供品嗎？你們抬著為自己造的神像——你們的王撒固和星神迦溫。

然而他們所做的只不過是你憑自己的能力和旨意所預定的。
