that the Lord your God will bring you back from captivity, and have compassion on you, and gather you again from all the nations where the Lord your God has scattered you.

則爾上帝耶和華將矜憫爾曹、使被虜者得返故土、昔散爾於列邦、今必使爾復集。

則主爾之天主將矜恤爾、返爾俘囚、主爾之天主散爾於列邦、必由彼聚爾返、

then the Lord your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you.

When all that happens, the Lord your God will bless you with great success again. He will be very kind to you. He’ll bring you back from all the nations where he scattered you.

The Lord builds up Jerusalem; He gathers together the outcasts of Israel.

For I will take you from among the nations, gather you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land.

Though He causes grief, Yet He will show compassion According to the multitude of His mercies.

As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day.And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land; I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, in the valleys and in all the inhabited places of the country.

even so these also have now been disobedient, that through the mercy shown you they also may obtain mercy.

And for their sake He remembered His covenant, And relented according to the multitude of His mercies.He also made them to be pitied By all those who carried them away captive.Save us, O Lord our God, And gather us from among the Gentiles, To give thanks to Your holy name, To triumph in Your praise.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ Behold, I will save My people from the land of the east And from the land of the west;I will bring them back, And they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem. They shall be My people And I will be their God, In truth and righteousness.’

Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.

“ Hear the word of the Lord, O nations, And declare it in the isles afar off, and say,‘ He who scattered Israel will gather him, And keep him as a shepherd does his flock.’

And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

Behold, I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them in My anger, in My fury, and in great wrath; I will bring them back to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely.They shall be My people, and I will be their God;then I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever, for the good of them and their children after them.And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from doing them good; but I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me.Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart and with all My soul.’“ For thus says the Lord:‘ Just as I have brought all this great calamity on this people, so I will bring on them all the good that I have promised them.And fields will be bought in this land of which you say,“ It is desolate, without man or beast; it has been given into the hand of the Chaldeans.”Men will buy fields for money, sign deeds and seal them, and take witnesses, in the land of Benjamin, in the places around Jerusalem, in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the South; for I will cause their captives to return,’ says the Lord.”

And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:“ The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;

When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, We were like those who dream.Then our mouth was filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations,“ The Lord has done great things for them.”The Lord has done great things for us, And we are glad.Bring back our captivity, O Lord, As the streams in the South.

Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying,Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the Lord God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem which is in Judah.Who is among you of all His people? May his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem which is in Judah, and build the house of the Lord God of Israel( He is God), which is in Jerusalem.And whoever is left in any place where he dwells, let the men of his place help him with silver and gold, with goods and livestock, besides the freewill offerings for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.

The Lord GOD, who gathers the outcasts of Israel, says,“ Yet I will gather to him Others besides those who are gathered to him.”
