我要在戰爭吶喊的日子，在旋風狂吹時，在拉巴城內放火，吞滅它的宮殿；

過了一年，正是諸王出戰的時候，大衛派約押率領臣僕和以色列眾人出去。他們打敗亞捫人，圍攻拉巴。大衛仍然留在耶路撒冷。

那地也算是利乏音人之地，因為先前利乏音人住在那裏，亞捫人稱他們為散送冥人。

你要劃定一條路，使刀來到亞捫人的拉巴，來到猶大，在堅固城耶路撒冷。

他們跟亞衲人一樣，也算是利乏音人，但摩押人卻稱他們為以米人。

從非利士營中出來一個挑戰的人，名叫歌利亞，是迦特人，身高六肘一虎口。
